Yes—Leon S. Kennedy is playable in Resident Evil Requiem, alongside FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft. Leon’s playable status was confirmed in December 2025, not as a new 2026 reveal. The game launched on February 27, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

How do Leon and Grace fit into the game?
Leon joins Grace Ashcroft; he does not replace her. Nintendo’s official game feature names Grace, an FBI analyst, and veteran agent Leon as characters with distinct gameplay styles. PlayStation.Blog characterizes Grace’s sections as survival horror and Leon’s as more action-focused. Those descriptions establish a contrast in presentation, not a precise split of campaign time or a percentage of gameplay.
