Spoilers: This walkthrough covers the basement route, Emily’s rescue, and the escape sequence. Grace’s objective is to find three Joint Plugs, restore power to the Holding Cells, and free Emily. The route below follows a secondary walkthrough published by KeenGamer on March 2, 2026; the steps have not been independently verified, and patch changes are not established.
Reach the Security Room and collect the first Joint Plug
- Enter the basement and find the Security Room. It serves as a safe room, with a save point and item box.
- Go from the Security Room to the Holding Cells. A cutscene introduces the locked cells and generator. The first Joint Plug is added to your inventory.
- Optional: Read the nearby file, “Staff Member’s Last Words.” It is not required for the plug objective.
Open the Boiler Room and find the second Joint Plug
- Backtrack to the power distributor beyond the save room. Insert the first plug to open the Boiler Room route.
- Move the crate and crawl through the gap. Pick up the Square Socket Wrench from the workbench. You will need it at the Collection Pool generator, so do not leave it behind.
- Optional: A Molotov Cocktail is available in the Bunkroom.
- Use a plug at the Furnace. Crawl through the Furnace vent into the Workshop and collect the second Joint Plug.
Power the Collection Pool and pass through Processing
- Go to the Collection Pool generator. Use the Square Socket Wrench on the console, then insert both plugs to restore power and open the route onward.
- Crawl through the vent to Processing. Pick up the Forklift Key near the forklift and use it to move the obstruction.
- Keep the Processing distributor powered for now. Removing its plug too early can leave Grace without a powered exit. The guide warns against reclaiming it before the route is ready.
Drain the pool and retrieve the third Joint Plug
- Return toward the Furnace and Inspection. Manipulate the machinery holding the cadaver to clear the passage.
- Use the wheel or valve to drain the pool.
- Descend through the conveyor section. Survive the enemies, climb the ladder at the far side, and collect the third Joint Plug.
Free Emily and begin the escape
- Return to the Security Room. Make sure all three Joint Plugs are in Grace’s inventory.
- Go to the Holding Cells distributor and insert all three plugs. This frees Emily and triggers the escape sequence.
- Continue through the escape. The sequence includes quick-time events and an elevator.
