To complete the Organless Corpse puzzle in Resident Evil Requiem, collect the Artificial Lungs from the Organ Transport Box in the West Wing garage and the Artificial Heart from West Wing Cold Storage. Bring both to the body in the East Wing Examination Room and insert them. Defeat the revived enemy to get the Level 2 ID Wristband.
Where to find the Organless Corpse
The body is in the East Wing Examination Room. The puzzle requires two organs found elsewhere in the Care Center: the Artificial Lungs and the Artificial Heart. You need Level 1 access to reach the West Wing garage, so obtain the Level 1 wristband first. The exact order of rooms on the way can vary with progression.
Get the Artificial Lungs from the Organ Transport Box
The Organ Transport Box is in the West Wing garage. Open it to retrieve the Artificial Lungs. The reported control sequence is:
- Set the dial to HAND.
- Move the right lever to the center position.
- Set both yellow switches down.
- Turn the dial to AUTO.
If the sequence is entered incorrectly, the box can be reset, according to PC Gamer’s walkthrough. If you would rather follow the in-game clue, look for the notebook in the Lead Researcher’s Office after solving its puzzle box; it provides the Organ Transport Box instructions.

Get the Artificial Heart from Cold Storage
The Artificial Heart is in West Wing Cold Storage. You need a wrench to access it. GameWith’s route places the wrench in the Manager’s Room; it also warns that a chef enemy may patrol near Cold Storage. Be prepared for that encounter as you approach the room.
Complete the heart transplant sequence
- Return to the East Wing Examination Room.
- Interact with the Organless Corpse and insert both the Artificial Lungs and Artificial Heart.
- Defeat the enemy when the body revives.
- Collect the Level 2 ID Wristband it drops, then use it to open Level 2 security doors.
The organ locations and wristband reward are consistent across the available walkthroughs, including GamesRadar and GameWith. These are third-party guide accounts rather than an official Capcom walkthrough.

Is the Organless Corpse puzzle optional?
