Exact times for every region were not established in the official Capcom announcements.
When did Resident Evil Requiem release?
Capcom scheduled Resident Evil Requiem for February 27, 2026, in its June 9, 2025 announcement. Capcom Town Store later confirmed the game was released that day in its February 27, 2026 launch-day post. It is no longer an upcoming release; check your platform’s storefront for current availability.

Which platforms launched the game?
Capcom initially announced PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It later added Nintendo Switch 2 as a launch platform in its September 16, 2025 announcement. The announced launch platforms were therefore:
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
- PC
- Nintendo Switch 2
Why an exact time for every region cannot be given
Capcom’s retrieved release and platform announcements establish the date and platforms, but do not provide a complete region-by-region unlock schedule. The reported console rule applies to most regions, and the PC timing source provides a global start plus limited city examples. For a particular account or location, the platform storefront is the practical place to check whether the game is currently available.
