Forgotten Deep is the best place to start: the hub’s NPCs cover most core services, including weapons, Tubes, oxygen, storage, fish sales, the Bestiary, Geodes, and quests. This lookup follows All Things How’s guide, updated February 9, 2026, and is not a guaranteed complete roster for the game as of October 2026. NPCs, locations, and inventories can change with updates.
How to find and interact with NPCs
All Things How’s guide calls the first hub Forgotten Deep and also refers to it as Forgotten Dome. It reports that walking up to an NPC and pressing F opens a shop, dialogue, or service menu; G opens the backpack. Controls may change in a game update. The guide does not provide a consistent coordinate system or official map, so the location notes below are landmarks rather than precise map pins.

Forgotten Deep: hub vendors and services
The February 9, 2026 guide reports at least 14 known NPCs across three regions. The table lists its named characters and reported services; the estimate is the guide’s, not an official game statistic.

- Fish sales and main quests: Talk to Kraken.
- Artifacts: Take Geodes to Virelia’s purple-lit stall.

- The count depends on coverage: All Things How’s “at least 14” estimate covers three regions, while BloxInformer includes more areas and event entries. Neither establishes a definitive total for the current game.
- Some services are gated: The guide ties the Scientist’s fast travel to the “Fix the Toilet” quest, while the hidden NPCs require finding their routes and completing their quests.
