Roblox does not have one universal admin-command list. Commands work only when the experience creator has installed an admin framework—such as HD Admin or Kohl’s Admin—and has given your role the required permissions. Typing a command cannot legitimately make you an administrator in someone else’s experience.
“Free admin” usually means either a creator has enabled commands for all players, a free admin system has been installed in the creator’s own experience, or you are playing an experience designed to provide admin powers.

How Roblox admin commands really work
Admin commands belong to a specific experience and its installed framework. The prefix, command names, available targets, permissions, interface and even role structure can vary. A command copied from an HD Admin list may do nothing in a Kohl’s Admin experience, and neither system is built into Roblox globally.
Large online command lists are therefore only examples. The reliable list is the one shown inside the current experience: HD Admin uses ;commands, while Kohl’s Admin commonly uses ;cmds.

How to use HD Admin commands
HD Admin v2 uses named, reorderable roles rather than the old fixed six-rank model. Its default roles are Player, Fun, Mod, Admin, Dev and Owner. The experience creator automatically receives Owner. Roles and permissions can be changed by the creator, so two HD Admin experiences may not provide the same commands.
HD Admin command syntax
The default prefix is a semicolon:

Targets can be combined, for example ;fly me,role(admin). Targeting other players or multiple players is permission-controlled.

How to use Kohl’s Admin commands
Kohl’s Admin has separate new and legacy loaders, and their roles and configuration paths differ. The new loader uses everyone, vip, mod, admin, superadmin and creator. The legacy loader uses roles from Player through Game Creator.

On PC, press ;, type a command with or without the prefix, and press Enter. You can chain commands:

How creators install free admin systems
HD Admin
- Obtain the official HD Admin model.
- In Studio, open Window > Toolbox, then choose Inventory > My Models.
- Insert HD Admin.
- Keep the model in
WorkspaceorServerScriptService. - Do not rename it. The loader expects the name
HD Admin. - Publish through File > Publish to Roblox.
For some Studio tests, enable File > Experience Settings > Security > Enable Studio Access to API Services. HD Admin’s AutoUpdate attribute is enabled by default, allowing servers to load the latest release at startup.
Kohl’s Admin
- Open the official Kohl’s Admin model page and select Get Model.
- In Studio, open View > Toolbox and select Inventory.
- Search for Kohl’s Admin and insert the official model.
- Accept the script-warning prompt.
- Publish through File > Publish to Roblox.
The official model should be made by @Scripth. Kohl’s Admin warns that impersonating models may contain backdoors or unwanted administrators. If a feature requires HTTP requests, the current Roblox path is File > Experience Settings > Security > Allow HTTP Requests.

How to give every player free admin
This is a creator configuration choice, not a Roblox entitlement. Granting powerful roles to everyone can let players affect one another, use moderation tools or create performance problems.
HD Admin
HD Admin v2 can assign roles to everyone through its role configuration. The exact setting depends on the installed version and custom role setup; verify the role’s command, targeting and panel permissions before publishing.
Kohl’s Admin new loader
Open Kohl’s Admin > Config > Settings and configure freeAdmin:

FreeAdmin = falseThe legacy documentation supports admin-power values from 1 through 5; false disables free admin. Editing the wrong settings script is a common reason changes appear not to work.
Why an admin command does not work
- The experience uses another system:
;fly meis not a Roblox-native command. - The prefix is wrong: the creator may have changed or locked it.
- Your role lacks permission: commands, targets, modifiers and panels can each be restricted.
- The command bar is unavailable: HD Admin hides it from roles without Command Bar access; Kohl’s documented bar is PC-only.
- The target is ambiguous: try
@Usernameinstead of a display name. - HD Admin was renamed: restore the model name to
HD Admin. - Studio security settings are missing: check the relevant options under File > Experience Settings > Security.
- A rate limit was reached: HD Admin limits commands, requests, characters and some target operations by role.
HD Admin’s documented default Player limits include 20 commands per minute and two requests per second. Roles without custom values fall back to 60 commands per minute and 10 requests per second; requests are capped at 20 per second and a request is limited to 1,000 characters by default. Kohl’s Admin also supports cooldown, command and target limits in role configuration.
Stay safe when installing “free admin” models
Free does not mean safe. Roblox warns that third-party Creator Store models can contain malicious scripts or backdoors that activate when a particular player joins or a command runs. Use official models, inspect inserted scripts and treat script warnings seriously. Roblox documents that scripts can be disabled from Explorer with Disable Scripts, but doing so also disables the model’s intended behavior.

Never use an executor, “admin hack” or free script to try to obtain legitimate server-side powers in an experience you do not control. Such claims do not describe Roblox’s normal admin systems and can expose your account or computer to security risks.
