Important: Asphalt Legends is not labeled Free here
Older articles may describe Asphalt Legends as a free Microsoft Store game, but that is not the exact current classification on this page. Microsoft displays it as Included with Game Pass and Offers in app purchases, rather than simply Free.
It appears in the Top free results because this view includes titles accessible through Game Pass. If you specifically want games with no Game Pass requirement or upfront purchase shown by the catalog, do not group Asphalt Legends with the entries labeled Free.
How to find more free racing games
- Open Microsoft’s Top free Racing & flying Games on PC page.
- Confirm that the active category is Racing & flying and that the page is filtered to Top free.
- Use Refine results if you want to narrow the catalog.
- Read each card’s pricing label. Prefer entries marked Free if that is your requirement.
- Check for Offers in app purchases before installing.
- Use the pagination controls to inspect the remaining results rather than assuming the first page contains the entire catalog.
Why the Store list needs manual filtering
The Microsoft category is not a pure racing database. It currently reports 677 items, with 1–47 of 677 items shown on the first page and pagination extending through page 14. Alongside racing games, the results can include driving simulators, aircraft games, tanks, and unrelated entries such as Roblox – Windows, Archery Talent 3D, Farming 2020, and Chess V+.
