The official Roblox listing documents seven classes, including Warlock, but the available independent rankings are older or undated, disagree about the top class, and omit Warlock. Use them as dated reference points—not as a current consensus—and choose by role, mode, equipment, and how much risk you can tolerate.
What the rankings say—and why they conflict
The available lists measure different things. Pro Game Guides published a PvE progression ranking on May 4, 2025; Gamezebo presents a party-contribution order but gives no publication or update date. Neither includes Warlock, which appears in Roblox’s relaunch listing.

The lists disagree even on who belongs at the top: Wizard leads the 2025 PvE ranking, while Healer and Tank lead Gamezebo’s party-utility order. That difference is a reason not to average the grades or call either list the current meta. The 2025 guide also cautions that weapons and gear can matter more than class, and that some classes perform differently in PvP.
How to choose by role
The following role descriptions come from third-party guides, not verified current relaunch gameplay. Treat them as a starting point and confirm each class’s abilities and weapon in the experience if it is available.

Solo play, parties, and PvP are different decisions
If you are progressing through PvE
The May 4, 2025 Pro Game Guides order is explicitly for PvE progression, so it is the more relevant of these two references for that mode. It is still a dated list: it predates the relaunch roster and should not be treated as an assessment of current balance.
If you are choosing for a party
Gamezebo’s listed party-utility order places Healer and Tank in its top tier. That may help if your main goal is contributing support or protection, but the page’s date and post-relaunch status are unknown. It is not evidence that those classes are universally strongest, especially for solo play.

If you are considering PvP
The 2025 guide says Assassin and Warrior are better in PvP than their PvE placements suggest. Do not carry its PvE grades into PvP unchanged; the available sources do not establish a current, complete PvP ranking.
Why gear and survival can outweigh a tier grade
The 2025 guide says weapon choice determines class and skills, and warns that better equipment can let a lower-ranked class outperform a higher-ranked one. Its specific weapon mappings are dated, so check the current experience rather than relying on an old mapping when choosing or switching.

Survival is also part of the choice. Roblox describes Dungeon Leveling as a difficult RPG with procedurally generated dungeons and warns: “You will need to decide whether to move on or not, since when you die you lose the items found in the dungeon.” A class that suits your comfort with risk and helps you survive may be a better practical pick than one with a higher grade in an old list.

The transferred listing points players to Dungeon Leveling Origin and documents a seventh class, Warlock. The transferred listing reported no running experiences when retrieved. Its roster is therefore evidence of the documented classes, not proof that the relaunch was playable at that time. The available third-party lists cannot fill the gap: both cover six classes and neither ranks Warlock.

Practical pick if you are unsure
- For a party-support role, compare Healer and Tank, while treating their top placement as Gamezebo’s undated party-utility view.
- For ranged combat, Wizard and Ranger are the listed magic and physical options; the 2025 PvE list ranks Wizard above Ranger, but that order is not established as current.
- For close-range play, the guides describe Assassin as stealth-oriented and Warrior as melee damage. The 2025 guide’s PvP caveat makes its PvE grades a poor universal comparison for those classes.
- For Warlock, wait to inspect its in-game role and abilities before assigning it a tier; the available rankings do not support one.
- Whichever class you choose, weigh its weapon and gear as well as how safely you can clear a dungeon, because death costs the items found during that run.
