If it is still missing after you take damage, the experience may have hidden or replaced it; the fix may be up to that experience’s creator, not a setting you can change as a player.
Why the Roblox health bar may not be visible
Your character is at full health
Roblox’s default health bar is associated with Enum.CoreGuiType.Health, and the Roblox Creator Hub documentation says it “Does not appear if the character is at full health.” Take damage in the experience and check again before treating an absent meter as a fault.
The experience has hidden or replaced it
An experience can disable the default Health CoreGui through a client-side script. Developers may also intentionally turn off the default meter and provide a custom health display instead. In that case, the default bar’s absence is an interface choice, not necessarily a Roblox client problem.
What to check as a player

Take damage in the experience, then check whether the health meter appears.

Notice whether the health bar alone is missing or whether other built-in interface elements, such as chat or inventory, are missing too. Several missing CoreGui elements can point to a broader topbar configuration; Roblox documents that disabling
TopbarEnabledalso disables CoreGui elements. See the StarterGui GetCore reference. -
If the bar remains absent after damage, contact the experience’s creator or support channel. Include the experience name, whether your character had taken damage, and which other built-in UI elements were missing. That information helps distinguish a health-only choice from a wider UI issue.

The cited Roblox documentation does not establish a universal player-side setting that overrides an experience’s deliberate decision to hide or replace its health meter. Without access to that experience’s implementation, the cause cannot be confirmed from the missing bar alone.

Check whether a client script disables Health
Inspect client-side scripts, including LocalScripts and custom HUD setup, for a call such as StarterGui:SetCoreGuiEnabled(Enum.CoreGuiType.Health, false). Roblox documents SetCoreGuiEnabled() as a client-side method for controlling CoreGui visibility. The StarterGui API reference also documents GetCoreGuiEnabled() for checking whether an element is enabled.

Check for a broader topbar setting
If several CoreGui elements are absent, inspect the experience’s topbar configuration as well as the Health setting. Roblox’s GetCore reference describes the broader effect of disabling TopbarEnabled.
Confirm whether a custom meter is intended
If the experience uses its own health HUD, confirm that it is being created and updated as intended before restoring the default bar. Roblox’s Create HUD meters tutorial demonstrates disabling the default meter from a LocalScript in StarterPlayerScripts as part of building a custom meter.
