If Roblox Marketplace is blank, stuck loading, or missing images, first check Roblox Status. If Marketplace, Website, Mobile App, and Avatar are operational, test in a private browser window or another device before clearing data or reinstalling. The cause may be local to your browser, app, network, or account rather than a Roblox-wide outage.
Identify what is failing
“Marketplace not loading” can describe several different problems. Note which one you see before troubleshooting:
- The page is blank or shows an endless spinner.
- Categories appear, but item thumbnails do not.
- Search returns no results, or scrolling stops before more items appear.
- Items appear, but prices or purchase buttons do not.
- Marketplace works on the website but not in the app, or works for one account but not another.
- A 403 or “access denied” message appears.
- A purchase completed, but the item or Robux balance has not updated.
A page-loading failure, an item that is unavailable, and a delayed purchase are not necessarily the same issue.
Check whether Roblox is down
Open Roblox Status and check Marketplace, Website, Mobile App, and Avatar. For missing images, also look for an Asset Delivery incident. Review any active incident or maintenance notice. On August 18, 2026, Roblox listed Marketplace, Website, Mobile App, and Avatar as operational; status can change, so use the live page when you troubleshoot.

If Roblox confirms an incident, wait for service to recover rather than repeatedly reinstalling. Roblox notes that outages can cause delays, failed actions, and delayed delivery of purchased products. Its guidance says completed purchases are generally applied within an hour and at most within 24 hours during incidents; this is general guidance, not a guarantee for every transaction. Try these low-risk checks first
- Open Roblox directly, rather than using an old bookmark, and confirm you are signed into the intended account.
- Reload Marketplace. If the main page is stuck, try opening a specific item page.
- Sign out and sign back in.
- On a computer, test in a private or incognito window. Sign in there and open Marketplace. If it works, stale site data or an extension may be involved.
- Try another current browser or another device. Roblox recommends using an updated browser and testing another browser when connection problems occur. Roblox connection troubleshooting
- Restart the Roblox app or browser, then restart the device if the problem remains.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and cellular data, where available, or test another trusted network.
These tests help narrow down whether the fault follows a browser, app, account, or network; none proves the cause by itself.
Fix Marketplace in a desktop browser
Clear Roblox site data
Roblox recommends clearing temporary internet files and cookies for website-loading problems. If your browser allows it, clear data for the affected Roblox site instead of wiping every site’s data, then restart the browser. Test extensions and content blockers
Temporarily turn off ad blockers, privacy or script blockers, cookie-management tools, VPN browser extensions, and Roblox-related third-party extensions. Test Marketplace, then turn extensions back on one at a time to identify a conflict. Roblox lists add-ons and extensions as possible reasons pages, buttons, or links may fail to load. Avoid unofficial “Marketplace fix” extensions or downloads.
Update the browser and review security settings
Install available browser updates and test a second current browser rather than assuming one browser is always best. Overly restrictive browser security or cookie settings can interfere with pages or buttons. Adjust Roblox permissions only as needed; do not broadly weaken browser protections. If a VPN is active, temporarily disconnect it as a test.

- Force-close Roblox, reopen it, and sign in again.
- Check the device’s official app store for a Roblox update.
- Restart the phone or tablet.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and cellular data, if available. Temporarily disable a device-level VPN or filtering profile to test whether it is involved.
- On Android, use the device’s app settings to clear Roblox’s cache first. Clearing app data may sign you out and remove local app data.
- On iPhone or iPad, there is not a universal iOS cache-clearing control equivalent to Android’s. Offloading, deleting, and reinstalling Roblox are practical reset options if the problem persists.

Resolve a 403 or “access denied” error
A 403 means access to the requested page was denied; it does not by itself identify why. Follow Roblox’s dedicated 403 instructions for the affected device and Windows version. Roblox’s Windows recovery path includes uninstalling Roblox, removing app data using the appropriate procedure, restarting the computer, and reinstalling. For website access on Windows or macOS, its guidance includes clearing temporary files and cookies, updating the browser, and disabling extensions or VPNs.

Roblox’s 403 guidance includes a Windows folder-removal command; rmdir /s Roblox permanently deletes the specified local Roblox folder. Use it only after uninstalling Roblox and only if the official instructions for your Windows version call for it. If the error persists after the official steps, test another trusted network and contact Roblox Support.

Check whether your network is blocking Roblox
Firewalls, antivirus or security software, unstable Wi-Fi, browser settings, VPNs, and network filters can interfere with Roblox access. Treat these as possibilities to test, not as certain causes. Roblox’s connection guidance recommends checking connection and security settings and lists UDP ports 49152–65535 for Roblox connections.
- Test a phone hotspot or another trusted network. If Marketplace works there but not on your usual network, investigate that network’s filtering, router, or security settings.
- Temporarily disconnect a VPN to compare results.
- If you understand the security implications, you can briefly test whether antivirus web protection is involved. Turn protection back on afterward.
- Allow Roblox through the firewall rather than leaving the firewall disabled.
- On a school, work, or managed network, ask its administrator whether Roblox or its assets are blocked.
Port and router changes are advanced troubleshooting, not a routine first fix for a Marketplace page. Most users should not change router settings unless other tests point to a network configuration issue.

Look at account settings when Marketplace works for another account on the same device, only certain items or categories are affected, or the account has recently had age, parental, spending, or content settings changed. For a linked child account, parental controls are managed under Settings > Parental Controls. Roblox documents controls for content, spending, communication, and screen time. Separate a technical failure from an account or item limitation: an item may be unavailable, removed, restricted, or filtered even while Marketplace works; an unavailable purchase button may involve item eligibility, currency, or account settings. If the entire Marketplace fails only on one account after device and network tests, contact Support.
If Marketplace loads but images, prices, or items do not
If categories appear but thumbnails are blank, test a private window, disable content-blocking extensions, try another browser, and switch networks. Check Marketplace, Avatar, and Asset Delivery on Roblox Status; an asset-delivery problem may affect images without making the whole Marketplace page unavailable. A single missing item can also be an item-specific availability issue rather than a platform failure.
If prices or purchase controls are missing while other content loads, test another browser or device and confirm the issue is not limited to one account or item. Do not treat a missing button as proof of a general outage.
If a purchase completed but the item is missing
Check purchase history and inventory before trying again. Roblox says outage-related delivery is generally within an hour and at most within 24 hours, but that is not a universal guarantee. Avoid repurchasing while a transaction may be pending. If the item or Robux is still missing after Roblox’s stated window, or the transaction record does not match what happened, contact Support with the purchase details. Escalate a persistent 403, an account-specific failure that remains after local tests, or a Marketplace problem that reproduces across multiple updated browsers or devices while status is operational. Contact Support as well if a purchase remains unresolved beyond the stated delay window. Use Roblox’s technical support hub and include the information Roblox requests for website issues:
- Your username and the exact error message.
- The affected webpage or item link.
- Device model, operating-system version, and browser or app version.
- Steps that reproduce the problem and whether it occurs in another browser, device, account, or network.
- Recent device, account, or network changes that may be relevant.
Roblox’s website issue guidance asks for account, error, page, device, reproduction, and recent-change details. Do not send your password.
