No verified December 2022 list of Roblox song codes is available here, so there are no individual IDs to recommend as working codes. A Roblox music code is an audio asset ID, and whether it plays can depend on the asset’s privacy and permissions as well as the experience using it. Roblox’s current Creator Hub explains how to find audio and copy its asset ID.
Why this page does not list specific December 2022 codes
The title promises a list of song codes, but no individual IDs or matching song titles could be verified. Providing a list anyway would risk sending players to incorrect or inaccessible audio. No code has been tested for playback, and present-day access can vary by asset and experience.

December 2022 players did report difficulty finding codes that worked. One user in r/Bloxburg asked for working codes on December 10, 2022 (Reddit discussion); a December 1 comment in r/roblox said codes found online did not work (Reddit discussion). These are individual reports, not evidence of how often codes failed or proof that every code was broken.

A music code is an audio asset ID: the identifier for an audio asset Roblox can use. Roblox’s current Creator Hub workflow is to search the Creator Store’s Audio category and copy an asset ID. See Roblox Creator Hub: Audio assets.

An ID alone does not guarantee that a track will play in every game. Roblox says imported audio is private initially and that creators can grant access to specific friends and experiences. Its Creator Hub explains: “The asset privacy system automatically ensures that the IDs of your imported audio can’t be accessed by users without proper permissions.” The page does not list a publication date.
Why older code lists can be unreliable
In March 2022, Roblox announced changes to audio asset privacy. That policy change provides historical context for why older public code lists could become unreliable: an ID might not be accessible to a particular user or experience. It does not establish that every code on a list stopped working. Read the Roblox Developer Forum announcement for the original policy context.

How to find an audio asset and check access
- Open the Roblox Creator Hub audio assets guidance and follow its current instructions to search the Creator Store’s Audio category.
- Open an audio asset that is appropriate for your intended use and copy its asset ID. An ID identifies the asset; it does not override its privacy settings.
- If you are the creator or owner, review the asset’s permissions and grant access to the specific experience or people that need it. Roblox says imported audio is private initially.
- Check playback in the particular experience where you intend to use the audio. A code’s availability in one context does not establish that it will work in another.
What to check when a code does not play
- Confirm the ID: Make sure you copied the audio asset ID rather than a song title or another kind of identifier.
- Check permissions: The asset may be private or unavailable to the experience using it. Roblox’s audio asset documentation describes permission controls.
- Check the experience: Playback in one experience does not prove access in another.
- Verify the match: If a list supplies a song title, confirm that the asset actually corresponds to it; a code by itself does not establish the song identity.
