A list dated October 11, 2025 includes IDs for songs such as “Mood” and “Take On Me,” but those examples have not been independently verified as playable now. Player playback depends on the individual experience. A numeric ID is useful only if the game has an active radio or boombox feature that accepts audio asset IDs; the list above does not establish that any experience supports these songs.

- If it provides an audio-ID field, enter the numeric ID there and submit it using that interface’s controls.
- If the ID does not play, verify the digits and check whether the experience accepts IDs. The audio may also be unavailable or permission-restricted.
Roblox’s code redemption page is for gift-card, virtual-item, and promo codes; those are different from audio asset IDs.

How creators find and use Roblox audio IDs in Studio
Find audio in Creator Store
Roblox’s official Audio assets documentation directs creators to the Creator Store tab in Studio’s Toolbox. Select the Audio category, search or filter for an asset, then copy its asset ID. Roblox describes the catalog as containing more than 100,000 professionally produced sound effects and music tracks from audio and music partners; that figure is from undated Creator Hub documentation accessed in 2026.
Use an ID in a Sound object
For Studio playback, Roblox’s audio tutorial describes inserting a Sound object, assigning an asset ID to its SoundId property, previewing it, and calling Play() in a script. The tutorial’s example IDs are for demonstrating that workflow and are not validations of the dated song-code examples above.

Check access and rights
Roblox’s asset privacy system can limit access to imported audio based on permissions. The Creator Hub states: “The asset privacy system automatically ensures that the IDs of your imported audio can’t be accessed by users without proper permissions.” Uploaders must also comply with Roblox rules and have legal rights to the audio.

Licensed music and creator rules
Roblox Support says its agreement with APM Music provides licensed music for use in Roblox games and describes that catalog as royalty-free for use on the Roblox platform. Roblox says a game may use up to 250 licensed tracks at a time, including tracks used in in-game boomboxes. This is Roblox’s published operational limit, not a recommendation that every experience use that many tracks.
Roblox Support also warns: “As a reminder, it is against the Roblox Terms of Use to upload music unless you own it or it is properly licensed.” See Using Licensed Music on Roblox for the platform’s explanation.
