Roblox–VNG is the Vietnam-specific Roblox app and service. Roblox’s current supplemental terms say users in Vietnam are required to use it. Existing Roblox users can sign in, and Roblox’s FAQ says gameplay data and Robux move to the VNG app—but the FAQ also says that after the first Roblox–VNG login, the global Roblox app can no longer be used. Read that transition carefully before signing in.
What is Roblox–VNG?
Roblox–VNG is the Roblox application and associated service for Vietnam, operated by the local publisher under separate terms. Roblox’s supplemental terms say users in Vietnam are required to use the Roblox–VNG application and associated services.
VNG and Roblox announced their Vietnam partnership on May 11, 2024. That announcement forecast a summer 2024 release for iOS and Android; it is a historical forecast, not a current release schedule. The current Google Play listing identifies Roblox VN as an app by VNGGames Co., Ltd.
Can I use my existing Roblox account?
Yes. Roblox’s official Roblox–VNG FAQ says you can sign in with an existing Roblox account, or choose to create a new one. The FAQ describes account-and-password sign-in, saved passkey or confirmation methods, signing in from another device that is already logged in, and quick login when the global app is already signed in. The Vietnamese terms also list options such as ZingID and linked Google or Facebook accounts when offered, as well as a “Play Now” first-login option tied to the device pending account identification. Available methods can differ, so follow the choices displayed in your app.

What happens to my account, gameplay data and Robux?
The FAQ says gameplay data and Robux are migrated to Roblox–VNG when you sign in. It does not describe this as a reversible test, and the reviewed official information does not set out a rollback route to the global app.
The FAQ separately addresses the original early-access launch transition: it said gameplay data, including Robux, badges and achievements, would remain when the app officially launched, and early-access users would not need to reinstall because the app would update automatically. Those statements apply to that launch transition, not necessarily to every later app update or account change.

Can I keep using the global Roblox app after logging in to Roblox–VNG?
No. Roblox’s FAQ says that after you first log in to Roblox–VNG, you can no longer use the global Roblox app. Because the stated consequence follows the first login, do not sign in merely to test the VNG app if you intend to keep using the global app.
Can I play with people outside Vietnam?
Yes. The FAQ says Roblox–VNG users can play with players outside Vietnam. This is a statement about cross-border play; it does not promise that every individual experience, feature or item will be accessible in the same way.

What is the minimum age for Roblox–VNG?
The Roblox–VNG terms describe the online game as suitable for people aged 12 and older and state that users under 12 may not use it under the stated Vietnam legal requirements. Google Play also displays a 12+ rating for Roblox VN. These are Vietnam-service terms and a store rating, not a statement about the minimum age in every Roblox market.
Which devices and creation tools are listed?
The Google Play listing describes Roblox play across mobile phones, tablets, computers, consoles and VR headsets. It also describes Roblox Studio creation on Windows or Mac. A store listing description does not establish identical availability of every platform or feature in Vietnam.

How can I buy Robux in Vietnam?
Roblox’s FAQ describes Google Play in-app purchases during early access and the Vietnam VNG webshop, which it says offered local payment methods. Its Vietnamese-language section also mentions the App Store alongside Google Play and the webshop. Because those descriptions differ, they do not establish one current payment method for every device or account. Check the purchase options shown in your app and VNG’s local webshop before paying; do not assume a platform or price comparison applies to you.

The FAQ’s avatar-reward information describes a promotion deadline of 23:59 on September 30 (GMT+7) but does not show a year in the displayed text. It says the reward was exclusive to Roblox–VNG app users and that redeemed items appeared in inventory after redemption. Treat this as historical, time-limited information rather than an active offer.

The same FAQ says Vietnam creators could upload and sell avatar items on the Marketplace without a Premium subscription until Roblox reopened that requirement, subject to ID verification, Community Standards and other Marketplace policies. Because this condition may change, creators should verify the current Marketplace requirements before relying on it.
Where can I get help with an error?
For Roblox–VNG errors, the FAQ directs users to the Roblox–VNG support portal. The Google Play listing also gives the support email [email protected].
