Rocken Roller is an optional Borderlands 4 boss in the Trinket Crevass Abandoned Auger Mine, in Carcadia Burn’s Ruined Sumplands. Its armor crystals block damage until you destroy them; then focus on its exposed health bar, which guides report is weak to incendiary damage. The fight is also reported to drop three legendary items: San Saba Songbird, T.K.’s Wave, and AF1000.
Where to find Rocken Roller
Game8 places Rocken Roller inside the Trinket Crevass Abandoned Auger Mine in the Ruined Sumplands of Carcadia Burn. Its guide says the mine becomes accessible after completing the Crystal Brawl quest from Shadow of the Mountain. Treat that as a guide-reported progression requirement; another guide describes access more generally as part of Carcadia Burn’s story progression. How to beat Rocken Roller
The key is to handle the fight in phases: avoid its rolling attack, break the crystals protecting it, deal with enemies that can restore its shield, and then damage the exposed boss.
- Get out of the rolling sweep. Rocken Roller spins and rolls toward the player, and it also throws rocks or crystals. Game8 recommends taking higher ground to avoid the spin; Neoseeker advises dodging sideways when it rolls. Game8’s boss guide and Neoseeker’s guide describe these approaches.
- Destroy the crystals. The boss cannot take health damage while its protective crystals remain. Neoseeker describes crystal patches on its sides and back and recommends area-of-effect damage to break them efficiently. Neoseeker’s guide
- Clear the Vile Ordonites. Game8 warns that these spawned enemies can restore Rocken Roller’s shield. Deal with them before returning to the boss, or you may have to repeat the crystal-breaking work. Game8’s boss guide
