Presentation and audio
Nintendo says the game is voiced in English and Japanese. Its listing credits an original soundtrack with Fat Bard, additional music by Rinn, and an opening theme performed by J-Pop artist Itoki Hana. The anime influence and music credits are useful indicators of the intended style, but they do not substitute for a hands-on judgment of the presentation.
Is Rogue Flight worth buying?
Consider Rogue Flight if you want a single-player, stage-based space shooter built around arcade action, and its anime-inspired setting, branching story and customization appeal to you. The campaign-plus-unlockable-mode structure offers more than one stated way to play.

There is also no broad independent critic consensus established by the sources cited here.
What player ratings say—and do not say
As of 8 October 2026, the UK PlayStation Store showed 4.51 out of 5 from 528 ratings, while Steam showed 97% positive from 268 all-time user reviews. These are separate, dynamic storefront snapshots, not comparable scores or an independent critics’ aggregate. There is a date difference across sources: Meridiem’s PS5 page lists 22 November 2024, rather than the 24 October date shown by the PlayStation Store. The pages do not explain the discrepancy, so treat dates as platform- and listing-specific rather than as one universal release date.
Nintendo explicitly identifies its Switch version as digital. The retrieved PS5 listings confirm a game listing and a PS5 product page, but do not establish that a physical-disc edition is currently available. Check the exact region, format and stock with a retailer before buying if you specifically want a disc.
