Which games can Xbox players play now?
Three of the highlighted announcements were presented as immediately playable: Clive Barker’s Hellraiser Revival, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and Deep Dish Dungeon. The first is also on PC and PS5; the second includes a demo; and the third is available through Xbox Game Pass as well as Xbox Series and PC. Those are the clearest choices for players who want something from the showcase without waiting for a launch date.

The dated 2026 releases arrive in a tight sequence. Planted! is scheduled for October 29, followed by SOMBRAS: negative frames on December 3. December 8 brings both the new Xbox Series X|S version of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey and Guns of Eschaton. AGNI: Village of Calamity is listed for 2026 without a more specific day. The showcase also announced a free edition of Train World Sim 7, but did not provide its release date.

Which reveals are planned for 2027?
Elta: Defy All Gods has the firmest 2027 date, February 2, and an Xbox Series X|S demo. SPINE is listed for a 2027 release window without a specific day. The remaining titles in the roundup have no date in the available showcase information, so they should be treated as undated projects rather than 2026 commitments.
How the lineup breaks down by play style
- Horror and dark fiction: Hellraiser Revival, AGNI, SOMBRAS, Guns of Eschaton and When Sirens Fall Silent cover licensed horror, survival horror, photography horror, occult action and psychological thriller formats.
- Survival and exploration: Arizona Sunshine, After Zero, Ancestors and Deep Dish Dungeon emphasize scavenging, harsh environments, clan or character progression and discovery.
- Action: Stuntman: Hollywood, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, Elta and SPINE offer stunt driving, 2D exploration, platforming and gun-fu combat.
- Multiplayer and social play: Arizona Sunshine supports online split-screen co-op, The Escapists 3 supports solo or group escape planning, Planted! supports one to four players, and Deep Dish Dungeon supports solo or up to three players. Squad is the large-scale team shooter built around communication and logistics.
- Simulation: Train World Sim 7 is the most technical announcement, combining real-time local weather data with modern PC graphics features and a planned free edition.
What Xbox owners should check before choosing
- Confirm the Xbox generation. Several announcements specifically name Xbox Series X|S, while others only confirm Xbox availability. Do not assume an Xbox One version unless it is explicitly stated; the confirmed free-upgrade case is Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey.
- Use the date, not the trailer window. October 29, December 3 and December 8, 2026, and February 2, 2027, are the firm dates in this roundup. A 2026 or 2027 label is a window, not a guaranteed day.
- Match the mode to your group. The lineup includes strictly single-player material, solo games with optional co-op, one-to-four-player competition and large-scale team tactics. Multiplayer support differs by title.
- Look for the playable previews. Demos were specifically noted for SOMBRAS on PS5, Elta on Xbox Series X|S and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. Deep Dish Dungeon is the only game in this list explicitly identified as being on Xbox Game Pass.
What the showcase says about Xbox’s 2026 slate
Xbox Series X|S is a common platform across the announcements, but the showcase was not an Xbox-only presentation. Most games also target PC or PS5, and several include Switch or Switch 2 versions. The breadth is the main story: players can choose between authored horror, open-ended survival, tactical warfare, simulation, platforming and cooperative party concepts rather than a single dominant genre. No independent audience, sales or viewership figure was published alongside the event coverage.
