The package brings three games to Switch and includes publisher-confirmed gyro aiming, touchscreen support, and handheld and TV play.
When did the Switch trilogy release?
There is no single worldwide digital release date in the official listings. SEGA’s Japanese product page gives the Switch digital edition a release date of January 16, 2025, while Nintendo Germany lists October 31, 2024 for its digital edition. Those dates apply to their respective markets.

The physical package edition released in Japan on March 27, 2025. SEGA’s launch notice that day confirmed the package had launched and that the digital edition was also available by then. The physical release date should not be mistaken for a universal digital launch date.

What Switch features are confirmed?
SEGA describes the Switch adaptation as supporting gyro-sensor shooting, touchscreen input for the interface and controls, and both handheld and TV modes. Nintendo Germany describes portable and tabletop play. These are official feature descriptions, not independent tests of how well the games run.
SEGA classifies the trilogy as a single-player survival-horror first-person shooter. The publisher’s Japanese listing gives a player count of one. The official information cited here does not establish Switch frame rate, resolution, bug status, or comparative performance, so those should not be inferred from the feature list.

Yes. SEGA confirms a Japanese-market package edition released March 27, 2025. SEGA’s Japanese product page lists its price as ¥5,980 before tax, or ¥6,578 including tax. These are Japan-market prices, not a global price; check the local Nintendo store or retailer for the price in your territory. Current retailer stock and an Amazon listing are not confirmed here.
What age rating applies?
The Japanese edition is rated CERO Z, for ages 18 and older. That is the Japanese classification; ratings can differ by territory.
How popular is the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series?
In its December 20, 2024 announcement, SEGA said cumulative worldwide sales of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series had exceeded 15 million. This is a figure reported by SEGA, not an independently audited sales total.
