Saber Interactive has officially announced a new John Wick game, developed with Lionsgate, franchise director Chad Stahelski and Keanu Reeves. The project is an original story set within the films’ timeline, and the PlayStation Store lists it for PS5 with its release date still to be determined.
What is the new John Wick game?
It is an officially announced AAA game from Saber Interactive, made in collaboration with Lionsgate and Chad Stahelski, the director of the John Wick films. Keanu Reeves is also named as a collaborator, and players will take the role of John Wick. The announcement was published on February 12, 2026, by Saber game director Jesus Iglesias on the PlayStation Blog.

The official PlayStation Store listing calls the product “Untitled John Wick Game,” rather than giving it a final title. The announcement said the official title would be revealed later.
Is it a retelling of one of the movies?
No direct film adaptation has been announced. The game is described as having an original story set during a specific period in the John Wick timeline, featuring both familiar characters and new ones. The announcement has not yet identified that period or provided further story details.

What gameplay has Saber announced?
Saber’s announcement describes the game’s intended approach, not gameplay independently tested or demonstrated in a finished build. Its stated design elements include:
- A distinct gun-fu combat system.
- Cinematic camerawork.
- Driving experiences.
- Stylized neo-noir environments.
Iglesias said: “Stay tuned for the game’s official title and release date; we’ll reveal both in time as well as more details about the story and setting.”

Which platforms and release date are confirmed?
The PlayStation Store listing identifies PS5 as the platform, names Saber Interactive as publisher and gives the release date as “To be determined.” The listing does not establish a price, preorder, physical edition or availability on other platforms. No measurable gameplay or performance figures have been announced.
