What is the $25 game from the creator of Just Cause?
Samson: A Tyndalston Story is a single-player urban action-adventure developed and published by Liquid Swords, the studio founded by Christofer Sundberg after his work creating Just Cause. It is a separate game, not a new Just Cause entry.
You play Samson McRay, a man in debt in the city of Tyndalston. The game combines close-quarters combat, driving and jobs that consume a limited pool of Action Points. Liquid Swords says debt accrues interest and decisions affect how the city treats Samson. Steam also lists hostile districts, cars that can be used as weapons and a skill tree.
When did Samson release, and which platforms have it?
The April 8, 2026 launch was for Windows PC. The Xbox Series X|S and PS5 editions were listed for September 21, 2026, so the title is now available on all three platform families. The checked storefronts document digital editions.
