The announcement also mentions bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, but its accessible changelist does not provide their full details.
What changed in the January 22 Schedule I update?
Metallic storage closets
Players who have reached Bagman I can buy metallic storage closets at hardware stores. They come in small, medium, large, and huge sizes, and hold more item slots than existing storage racks.
Benzies graffiti activity
Benzies can now appear spraying graffiti at random locations in the world. Interrupting them reduces cartel influence and awards XP.
Graffiti controls
The graffiti feature gains an undo option and four selectable stroke sizes.

Is this the v0.4.3 Open Beta update?
A third-party patch index labels the update “v0.4.3 Open Beta.” That label is useful for identifying the update, but the complete versioned changelist is not confirmed by the accessible announcement excerpt. See the GamePatchNote.com v0.4.3 Open Beta index with that qualification.

SteamDB’s record for build 21597665 says that the build, recorded on January 22, 2026 at 08:30:25 UTC, was not seen in a public branch and had no official patch notes available for that build. Separately, SteamWatch lists a Schedule I community announcement at 08:31 UTC that day, with the major changes summarized above. These are different records: SteamDB’s note about that build does not mean no January 22 community announcement existed. See the SteamDB build record and SteamWatch’s Schedule I announcement index.
