Scopely said its mobile-game portfolio had generated $10 billion in lifetime revenue and reached one billion downloads during 2024. The company also reported more than 15 billion hours of cumulative playtime. These are company-reported portfolio milestones—not 2024-only revenue figures or totals attributable to a single game.
What Scopely’s milestones count
GamesBeat reported on December 30, 2024, that Scopely said it had reached $10 billion in lifetime revenue from its mobile games and one billion downloads across its portfolio during 2024. Scopely also reported more than 15 billion hours of playtime to date. GamesBeat’s report does not provide an exact cutoff date within 2024 or an audited accounting definition for the revenue figure.
- Revenue: $10 billion in lifetime revenue from Scopely mobile games, as reported by the company.
- Downloads: One billion across the portfolio, not one billion for any single title.
- Playtime: More than 15 billion hours accumulated across its games; this is a measure of engagement, not a player count.
The available reporting does not establish whether the revenue figure means gross consumer spending or recognized net revenue, how platform fees are treated, or whether the total was independently audited. It should therefore be read as Scopely’s reported lifetime milestone, not as a precisely defined financial measure.
MONOPOLY GO! became a major growth driver
Scopely launched MONOPOLY GO! in April 2023. In a company newsroom account that reproduces a PocketGamer.biz interview, Scopely said the game generated more than $3 billion in just over a year. That makes it a standout contributor, but it does not mean the entire $10 billion portfolio milestone came from MONOPOLY GO! Scopely’s account of the interview also notes that the mobile game inspired a physical board-game adaptation.

Growth beyond one hit
The milestone sits alongside a longer company history and a portfolio with different kinds of reach. GamesBeat’s December 30, 2024 report, updated June 18, 2025, says Scopely was founded in Los Angeles in 2011. Its early Dice With Buddies franchise later developed a relationship with Hasbro’s Yahtzee brand and exceeded $1 billion in lifetime franchise revenue, according to the report. This is a separate franchise figure, not part of the MONOPOLY GO! total.

Scopely’s 2024 expansion also included bringing Stumble Guys to Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. That move illustrates a route beyond mobile distribution, while MONOPOLY GO! represents the scale of a major mobile title and Dice With Buddies shows the value of a longer-running franchise. GamesBeat described Scopely at the time as having more than 2,400 employees and offices in over a dozen countries; those are historical figures from its 2024 report, not a current headcount or footprint.
Co-CEO Walter Driver summed up the company’s stated approach in the interview reproduced by Scopely: “Having a long-term mindset is critical to game-making.”
