Script Executor was a Roblox Studio plugin for editing and quickly running scripts—not an executor for injecting code into the Roblox player. Its creator recommended Studio’s built-in multiline Command Bar instead in April 2026. In July 2026, the creator said they did not intend to reopen the project; whether this specific plugin is currently installable remains unverified.
What was Script Executor?
Micamaster100 (M100) introduced Script Executor in a Roblox Developer Forum resource post on August 31, 2024. The post described a Roblox Studio plugin intended to make editing and executing scripts more convenient. It was not presented as a tool for injecting scripts into a live Roblox player.

The creator advertised a multiline editor, one-click execution, import of .lua, .luau, and .txt files, export as .lua or Roblox files, settings, a community-powered Script List, and a responsive interface. The post called it free and open source. When users asked about the license, M100 said it was MPL 2.0. Those were claims made in the original thread; they do not establish that the source repository is available now.
Does the plugin still work, and is it abandoned?
The forum thread records mixed reports and creator replies, rather than a current compatibility check. In March 2025, a user said the plugin did not work for them and that they could not open its UI. M100 replied that importing, exporting, and running scripts “should still be working,” suggested reinstalling, and said the Script List database had been wiped after the creator’s GitHub account was hacked.

On April 20, 2026, M100 recommended using Studio’s Command Bar instead: “now the command bar ui supports multiple lines i’d really just recommend that instead of this plugin”. On July 30, 2026, responding to a question about the unavailable GitHub repository, M100 said: “i don’t really feel like re-opening it im super demotivated sry. my github got hacked and it all disapeared like years ago sorry”. That is the creator’s account of the project’s status and repository; it is not an independent confirmation of why the repository is unavailable.
The thread does not establish that every user has the reported UI problem, whether the plugin remains installable, or whether there were updates after the replies shown. Roblox’s general Studio plugin documentation explains plugins and Creator Store distribution, but does not confirm a live listing for this specific plugin. Its present download availability is therefore unverified.

How does Studio’s Command Bar compare?
Roblox’s Studio interface documentation describes the Command Bar as a way to execute Luau outside scripts. It can be opened from the Studio Script tab toolbar or via Window > Script. Most of the documented editing features require enabling Multi-line Command Bar under File > Beta Features.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
| Workflow | Script Executor, as advertised in the forum | Studio Command Bar, per Roblox documentation |
|---|---|---|
| Editing and execution | Separate multiline editor and one-click script execution. | Integrated command entry and execution, including multiline editing when the beta feature is enabled. |
| Editing aids | The original post advertised an advanced editor but did not enumerate its features. | Documentation lists autocomplete, Luau linting, go to declaration, Code Assist, and multi-cursor among a broad subset of Script Editor features. |
| History and saved work | Not specified in the original post. | Command history for the last 10 executed commands and saved commands. |
| Files and script library | The creator advertised importing .lua, .luau, and .txt files, exporting scripts, and a community-powered Script List. |
The cited documentation does not establish equivalent import/export or Script List features. |
The Command Bar is the more direct choice if you mainly want to enter multiline Luau and run it within Studio. It is integrated into Studio and has documented editing aids; it should not be treated as identical to the plugin, particularly for the plugin’s advertised file workflows and Script List. The creator’s April 2026 recommendation supports using the built-in bar as the alternative.

What changed during the plugin’s development?
In late 2024, M100 announced changes and fixes in the thread, including running code through ModuleScripts, pcall() error handling, support for importing .txt files, and interface updates. These are historical release statements, not verification that those features work in a current Studio version.
A forum category listing snapshot showed 200,817 views for the resource as of its August 17, 2025 activity entry. That is a dated page-view count, not a measure of installations, active users, or present-day interest.

Should you look for the plugin or use the built-in bar?
- If your goal is simply to enter and execute multiline Luau in Studio, enable Multi-line Command Bar in File > Beta Features and use the integrated Command Bar.
- If you specifically need the plugin’s advertised import/export workflow or Script List, the thread does not confirm a working download or a current replacement for those features.
- If you do find an old copy, the forum discussion does not establish compatibility with your current Studio version. Treat the March 2025 UI report and the creator’s later status comments as reasons to verify availability and behavior before relying on it.
