Short answer: A Seven Knights Re:BIRTH hero selector does not necessarily use one shared roster. Eligibility depends on the exact selector or ticket name, the update that changed its pool, and the event or reward that issued it. Check the item’s in-game details before selecting a hero. The reviewed official notices do not establish one universal number of choices, use limit, expiration rule, or claim menu for every selector.
What a hero selector is—and why the item name matters
A hero selector is a digital in-game reward that directs you to a defined group of heroes or tickets. The word “selector” does not prove that every selector contains the same heroes. Netmarble adds heroes to named selector and ticket categories in individual update notices, so the printed name on your item is the starting point for determining eligibility.

For example, the September 2, 2026 update notice says that Hayeon would be added to specific selector and ticket lists. That announcement is evidence for the categories named in that update; it is not evidence that Hayeon appears in every selector in every player’s inventory. An earlier October 29, 2025 notice documents Kyrielle being added to specified selector and ticket categories. The two notices demonstrate that pools change over time.

Which heroes can I get from my selector?
Use the exact selector or ticket label
Open the selector’s item details and read its displayed hero list. Record the complete item name, including a numeral such as “II” or “III,” because similarly named tickets can have different pools. Also note whether the item is described as a Legendary selector, a Tower of Trials ticket, or a Rare–Legendary ticket.
Hayeon: the September 2026 example
In the September 2, 2026 notice (updated September 16 at 10:11 UTC+0), Netmarble names Hayeon as an addition to these categories:
- Tower of Trials Hero Ticket
- Tower of Trials Hero Ticket II
- Legendary Hero Selector
- Legendary Hero Ticket II
- Rare–Legendary Hero Ticket II
- Legendary Hero Selector II
- Legendary Hero Ticket III
If your item is one of those named categories, the notice is relevant evidence that Hayeon was added in that update. It still does not replace the current in-game list: the item may have a different state, source or availability condition on your account.
Kyrielle: an earlier pool change
The October 29, 2025 update lists selector and ticket categories receiving Kyrielle. Because that notice is tied to a particular date and named categories, it should be read as a historical pool update, not as a promise that every selector issued later or earlier contains Kyrielle.

These are examples, not a complete current roster. Selector pools and event rewards are volatile, so inspect the item you actually own before spending it.
Can I use a selector on a new hero?
Only when that hero appears in the selector’s displayed pool. A hero’s release does not automatically make the hero eligible for every older ticket. The Hayeon announcement shows the process: the game team explicitly named the selector and ticket categories receiving the hero. If your item is not one of those categories, the notice alone cannot establish eligibility.
- Open the selector or ticket in your inventory.
- Read the eligible-hero list or the item-detail text, rather than relying on the hero’s release date.
- Compare the item’s exact name with the category named in the relevant update or event notice.
- If the hero is absent from the displayed list, do not consume the item expecting the pool to update later.
Public notices do not expose the roster or entitlement of a particular account. When a hero is missing, the only reliable account-level evidence is the item information shown in your game client.
How many choices can I make, and does the selector expire?
No universal selection or use limit is documented
The reviewed official notices do not define one number of heroes that every selector lets you choose, one universal use count, or one universal expiration rule. Do not assume that a selector always permits one choice, that it can be used repeatedly, or that all tickets share the same deadline. The exact item description and the event that awarded it control those terms.

Check the source event for a deadline
Some rewards are tied to an event period or a separate claim period. If the item shows a date, claim window or “use by” condition, treat that information as specific to the item. If no deadline is visible, the public notices reviewed here do not provide enough information to confirm whether the selector expires.
Distinguish selection count from inventory quantity
A player may own multiple copies of a ticket while each copy has its own use conditions. Conversely, a single selector may offer a pool without stating the same rules as another selector with a similar name. Check both the number of copies in your inventory and the text describing what one use does.
Where do I claim a hero selector?
There is no universal selector menu established by the reviewed notices. Claiming depends on the reward’s source. An event-issued selector normally follows the event screen or notice instructions; a mission reward may be collected from the mission interface; another reward may be delivered automatically or sent to the mailbox.

Use this source-first process
- Identify the source. Look at the selector’s acquisition history, event name or reward description.
- Open the named event or mission screen. Follow the route specified by that reward instead of searching for a generic “Hero Selector” button.
- Check the reward state. Confirm whether it is waiting to be claimed, already claimed, automatically granted or delivered to the mailbox.
- Read the claim period. If the event has ended, verify whether its notice provides a remaining claim period or an account condition.
- Return to inventory. After claiming, open the item details again and verify the available hero pool before selecting.
Adventurer’s Guide route is a specific example, not a general selector route
The September 2026 update explains that the Adventurer’s Guide can be opened from Lobby → Missions or by using its icon in the lobby. That path applies to the Adventurer’s Guide. It should not be treated as a universal location for every selector or ticket.

Automatic and mailbox delivery
The same update says ongoing check-in rewards are collected when you log in. If there is not enough inventory space, the reward may be sent to the mailbox. The notice also describes a claim-period condition for rewards from expired events. These behaviors are documented for those reward flows only; they do not prove that every hero selector is automatic or mailbox-delivered.

The selector is not eligible for the hero you want
A pool mismatch is the most direct explanation when the hero does not appear. Reopen the item details and compare the exact ticket name with the update category. A Legendary Hero Selector, Legendary Hero Selector II and Legendary Hero Ticket III should not be treated as interchangeable merely because their names are similar.
You are looking in the wrong interface
Do not assume that all rewards are claimed from inventory. Revisit the event, mission or guide named by the reward source. The Adventurer’s Guide example uses Lobby → Missions or its lobby icon, but that does not create a general selector claim button.

Check both inventory and mailbox. Some check-in rewards are granted on login, and the September 2026 notice allows mailbox delivery when inventory space is insufficient. A reward that is no longer on the event screen may already be waiting in one of those locations.

The event or claim period has ended
Event rewards can have a separate claim-period condition after an event expires. Read the event notice and the item’s displayed dates. If neither states a remaining window, the public notices do not establish that the reward can still be claimed.
Your account status cannot be confirmed from a notice
Public update pages cannot show whether your account owns a ticket, has met an event condition, has already claimed the reward or has space for delivery. Use the in-game item state, event progress and mailbox contents as the account-level record.
How to compare two selectors before using either one
When you have multiple tickets, compare them side by side using the information the game actually displays:

The official notices do not guarantee that every selector presents all five details in the same location. Use the item’s own text as the controlling information.
What the official evidence can—and cannot—tell you
The dated notices support two practical conclusions: selector pools are maintained by named category, and those pools can change in later updates. They do not supply a single master list for every selector, a universal number of uses, or a universal claim path. They also cannot reveal the contents of your account.
For the most accurate decision, inspect the selector immediately before using it, follow the source event’s instructions, and check the mailbox when a reward is missing from the expected screen. If the in-game details conflict with an older notice, the current item display and the latest applicable event instructions are the information available for your account.
