She’s Leaving has a clear point of difference: you play a forensic analyst investigating blood-spatter evidence while a stalker turns the search into survival horror. What is She’s Leaving?
She’s Leaving is a first-person survival-horror game from Blue Hat Studio. You play Charles Dalton, a forensic analyst specializing in blood spatter, investigating disappearances in the snowy region of Haywood. The Steam listing says the search takes you through a Tudor mansion and nearby docks, where you examine crime scenes, analyze blood-spatter evidence, and look for clues. A stalker supplies the survival-horror pressure; Dalton also has a taser as a limited means of responding to danger. Steam’s game listing describes these advertised features.
Steam lists the Windows release as December 2, 2025. Perp Games lists digital PlayStation and Xbox releases for December 9, 2025; the PlayStation Store page identifies the PS5 version.
Does the forensic mechanic make it stand out?
Blood-spatter analysis is the game’s defining advertised mechanic, not just a detective-themed framing device. The store description says players use it to investigate what happened and describes the gameplay as focused on real-life forensic practices. That is the developer’s account of its design intent, however; it does not establish that the puzzles teach forensic science accurately.

The premise creates an appealing contrast: methodical crime-scene analysis on one side, immediate danger from a stalker on the other. The question is how much room the investigation gets to breathe within that survival framework. Steam community-review excerpts praise the atmosphere and forensic sections, with one player calling them a breath of fresh air while wishing they were explored more. Other excerpts criticize uneven pacing, puzzle design, or the blood-spatter analysis feeling underused. Those are individual player impressions, not a settled consensus, but they point to the key trade-off: the concept may be more memorable than its execution feels to every player.

Psxextreme describes the house as nerve-wracking to traverse and the writing as pretty good; Try Hard Guides calls the premise and mechanics unique; Duuro Plays characterizes it as a compact, atmospheric survival thriller. Together with the mixed community comments, they suggest an interesting premise and atmosphere, with less agreement about how fully the investigative mechanics are developed.
Which platform should you choose?

- Detective Mode may suit you if you chiefly want to explore the clues and lore without stalker pressure.
