Should You Give the Grimoires to Myrddin or Trysha in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

To give yourself the best chance of completing both grimoire quests, give Trysha the genuine books and give Myrddin forged copies. The quests request overlapping grimoires, but the guides cited below describe a route that lets you serve both characters.

How much do Myrddin’s forgeries cost?

RPG Site reports that Ibrahim’s Scrap Store charges 6,000 G for each forged grimoire. At that stated in-game price, five copies cost 30,000 G. This is the guide’s reported price, not a separately verified value.

What if you already learned Meteoron from Trysha?

A community-edited Dragon’s Dogma Wiki entry for The Sorcerer’s Appraisal describes a conditional conversation in which Myrddin asks where you learned Meteoron. It says the Turquoise Ring from Trysha’s quest can serve as proof of friendship. Treat this as a guide-reported detail, not an official or universal requirement.
