Make Sarah leave to get her later encounter with Johnny. Either choice frees Corinne and advances Novigrad Dreaming, so there is no single best outcome; choose the story branch you prefer. Spoilers for this quest and later events follow.
What the Sarah choice changes
In the main quest Novigrad Dreaming, Geralt visits a supposedly haunted Novigrad house while searching for the dreamer Corinne Tilly, whose visions may help him find Ciri. He discovers that Sarah, a godling, is behind the disturbances and has trapped Corinne in a nightmare. At the oven, Geralt can negotiate with Sarah or threaten to drive her out.
The decision is about Sarah’s future and optional story content—not whether Corinne is rescued. Sarah stops tormenting Corinne and Corinne wakes on either route.

When the choice becomes final
Decide before Geralt leaves the house and speaks to Rudolf. Prima Games’ walkthrough says the choice is irreversible after that point and affects a conversation during the main quest Bald Mountain. If you want to keep both possibilities open, pause before exiting and make a manual save.
How to drive Sarah out
If you choose to expel Sarah, use Burdock in the oven when the quest calls for it. If Geralt does not already have the item, the guides say it can be obtained from a nearby herbalist or herb merchant. It is an in-game quest ingredient, not a real-world recommendation.

Which option should you pick?
- Pick “let her stay” if you want the Haunted House side quest and prefer Sarah to remain with Corinne.
- Pick “make her leave” if you want Sarah’s later connection with Johnny and her appearance during Bald Mountain.
- Choose by role-play if neither optional outcome matters more to you: the main quest moves forward and Corinne wakes either way.
The available guide accounts describe different optional narrative outcomes, not an objectively best ending.
