What happens if you choose Duck?
In the farm scene in The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series, Shawn is pinned beneath a tractor while walkers threaten Duck. If Lee prioritizes Duck, Kenny rescues his son and Shawn dies. GameFAQs walkthrough author Shotgunnova describes the outcome this way: “Duck’ll always be saved (by Lee or Kenny) and Shawn always dies.” Read the walkthrough.
The walkthrough says Kenny remembers Lee prioritizing his son. That supports choosing Duck if you want to be on better terms with Kenny, but it does not establish that the decision guarantees his loyalty later.
What happens if you choose Shawn?
Shawn still dies, and Kenny rescues Duck. Lee cannot save both characters in this sequence; choosing Shawn does not change the outcome for Duck or prevent Shawn’s death. A fan-maintained transcript of the scene corroborates that Kenny takes Duck to safety, walkers reach Shawn, and Hershel expels Lee and Kenny from the farm afterward.

Which option should you pick?
- Choose Duck if your priority is to favor your relationship with Kenny; the walkthrough says he remembers Lee’s choice.
- Choose Shawn only if you prefer Lee to try to help Shawn, knowing the scene does not let him survive.
These outcomes are described by a walkthrough and a fan-maintained transcript, rather than official game documentation. They establish the immediate scene results, not the size of any later relationship effect or every downstream branch.
