The epilogue can show him hunting devils and looking for a way to track Mizora, but it does not confirm that he defeats her. This is a later story choice, separate from the Act Three decision about his pact and his father.
What happens if Wyll hunts Mizora?
In the relevant epilogue path, Wyll continues hunting devils and seeks a lead that could help him track Mizora. The scene establishes an ongoing pursuit, not a confrontation or victory. It does not say that Wyll kills Mizora, and choosing this direction does not guarantee that he will find or defeat her.
Whether this epilogue path appears depends on Wyll’s contract status and other events in the game. It is best understood as support for his continued pursuit, rather than a guaranteed outcome.
Does this choice change Wyll’s pact?
No. The hunt is distinct from the earlier Act Three bargain. Mizora’s offer is framed around Wyll remaining bound to her and Zariel in exchange for revealing where his father, Ulder Ravengard, is and ensuring his safe return; breaking the pact carries the stated cost of his father’s death. Wyll’s quest continues through Ravengard’s rescue, the Ansur storyline, and later decisions about his role. The quest progression is summarized in the BG3 Wiki’s quest reference.

The setup can differ if Ravengard has already died before Mizora makes her demand: in that case, her terms concern resurrecting him or leaving him dead, rather than ensuring his safe return. The Act Three camp-events reference describes this alternate situation.
Should you choose the hunt?
Choose it if you want Wyll’s future to include an active effort against Mizora and enjoy that direction for his character. Choose another path if you would rather his ending focus elsewhere. There is no universally correct answer: the hunt expresses a role-playing preference, while the consequences of the earlier pact bargain are a separate matter.

Keep the two decisions separate
- The Act Three bargain: concerns Wyll’s contract and the cost attached to his father’s fate.
- The later hunt: supports Wyll’s continued pursuit of Mizora, but does not reverse the bargain or guarantee that he defeats her.
For context, Larian’s Patch 5 notes record a historical fix to the timing of Mizora’s judgment after the Karlach decision. That patch note documents a past correction; it is not confirmation that every current branching outcome is bug-free.
