SHUTEN ORDER is a murder-mystery adventure set against an end-of-world countdown. After the Shuten Order’s leader, the Founder, is murdered at a founding festival, the protagonist wakes without memories and is told they are the revived Founder. They have four days to identify and kill the murderer, with the five ministers as suspects. Each minister’s route uses a different genre and style of play.

How the route works
The route’s basic loop is to follow clues, find the heroines around the school, and use conversations and romance events to build affection. At night, the route shifts to a confession phase where you must choose the right words under a time limit. Nintendo’s route description outlines that loop, while the official English Switch manual names additional tutorial topics, including affection points, turn limits, intimacy level, an anger gauge, real-time choices, timeouts, interrupted choices, and short timed choices.

The official manual confirms that a turn limit is part of the route’s tutorial, but the inspected official material does not state an exact number of turns or affection threshold.
Nighttime: prepare for a timed confession
The confession phase tests your choices under time pressure. The manual’s contents distinguish several kinds of timed choices, including real-time choices, choices that can time out or be interrupted, and short timed choices. That terminology is useful for understanding the pressure, but it does not provide the correct answers or establish a guaranteed route outcome. Read each prompt promptly and make your choice before its timer expires.

How to use a route guide without assuming an answer key
The Steam community hub lists a user-created “Shuten Order: Minister of Education Guide” by ViolaaFox. Its description says it covers all dating scenarios in the Education route. That confirms the guide’s stated scope, not that every solution is accurate or complete.
If you want to discover the route yourself, use the guide’s scenario coverage as a reference rather than treating its description as official confirmation of a route order or optimal schedule. The official pages and manual establish the mechanics, but they do not publish a turn-by-turn school-map sequence, dialogue answer key, confession answers, affection thresholds, or complete ending-branch walkthrough. Avoid assuming a particular sequence is required unless the guide itself or your playthrough confirms it.
