Are these reviews of the current game after Test of Time?
No. The displayed review examples are dated February 3, 2025, before the February 11, 2025 launch. They assess the launch version, not the later Test of Time update. 2K announced the game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC through Steam and Epic, and Mac and Linux through Steam.
In a May 19, 2026 feature, GamesRadar+ reported that Test of Time changed campaign progression: players could continue as one civilization across all three ages, the initial legacy paths were replaced with optional triumphs, and age resets became less disruptive. The feature framed the overhaul as a response to player feedback. These changes mean launch reviews are useful for understanding the original design and its reception, but they do not describe the updated campaign in full.
