Did update 1.04 cause a Labyrinth progression bug?
Konami’s October 25, 2024 patch 1.05 notice says some Steam and PS5 players encountered a progression-blocking Labyrinth issue after applying 1.04. The reported scenario involved loading a save made in the Labyrinth, after Toluca Prison, before 1.04 had been applied. Konami said 1.05 restored the required progression flags. This describes an affected scenario; it does not establish that every player or save was affected.

What patch 1.05 added on Steam

If you keep multiple saves, back up local files before relying on cloud synchronization. The notice says the title screen displays v.1.1.244,738 in its lower-right corner for this update.
Updates after 1.05
Konami’s November 22, 2024 patch 1.06 notice lists additional PS5 and Steam fixes, including a PS5 Pro graphics issue, another Labyrinth blocker, control and input issues, and other gameplay problems. Its stated displayed version is v.1.1.248,905.

A later Steam patch 1.07 notice, dated January 30, 2025, lists fixes for a rotating-cube issue in the Labyrinth, a possible crash associated with missing DirectX libraries, Razer Chroma lighting, animation, and minor AI. That notice establishes a later Steam update, but not the latest live version on every platform today.
