What the 100% Completion achievement requires

- Tools and crests: These appear in community completion references, but some tool upgrades may be optional for the counter.
- Quest-related objectives: Consult a current checklist for the relevant objectives; not every optional quest or activity is necessarily a requirement.
Because the references are community-maintained and may not be version-specific, use the in-game percentage as your progress check and a current checklist to investigate what remains. Do not treat an older guide’s omissions as proof that an item is unnecessary.
Do you need every achievement, ending, or optional activity?
No—not on the evidence available for the 100% Completion achievement. These are distinct goals, and the achievement’s stated condition is the in-game 100% figure plus finishing the game.

- Risk of missing an item: Favor a maintained checklist that identifies its version or update status. If an edge case matters, verify it in your current game rather than relying on an undated claim.
- Spoilers: Item-by-item routes can reveal locations, quest steps, or outcomes. Choose a broad category checklist if you want less detail, and open location-specific guidance only when needed.
