The Simple Key door in Deep Docks is directly south of Forge Daughter. From the nearby bench, descend through the switch-platform section to find it. Using a Simple Key opens a lower part of Deep Docks—not the separate Diving Bell lock.
How to reach the locked door
- Find Forge Daughter. Use her shop as your landmark; the Simple Key door is directly south of her.
- Start from the nearby bench. Head downward through the switch-platform section. This is the general route; the available guides do not establish a dependable room-by-room sequence.
- Use a Simple Key at the door. The lock opens access to the lower Deep Docks area.

What the Simple Key unlocks
Beyond the door is a lower Deep Docks sub-area with further rooms, encounters, and pickups. The lower docks also feature in later Dark Below progression, as described in PC Gamer’s progression guide.

No. The Simple Key door south of Forge Daughter and the Diving Bell lock are separate. Opening this door gives access to the lower docks; it does not unlock the Diving Bell, which has its own later lock and progression steps.

Is this door the only way into the lower docks?
That is not established. Routes through the wider area can overlap, and the available guides do not show that this particular Simple Key door is mandatory for reaching every piece of lower-area content. If you are deciding how to spend a key, the evidence here is not enough to rank this lock against other Simple Key uses.
