To complete the Silver Bells Gather Wish in Hollow Knight: Silksong, defeat Widow, liberate Bellhart, accept the wish at the town’s Wishwall, and collect eight Silver Bells from the bellvein tunnels above and below town. Their locations are randomized, so use a repeatable tunnel loop and leave and re-enter the Bellhart region to refresh the search.
Unlock and accept the Silver Bells Gather Wish
- Defeat Widow and liberate Bellhart. The Wishwall becomes available with the town.
- Visit Bellhart’s Wishwall and accept the Silver Bells Gather Wish before searching. The request asks for eight bells.

Where to find Silver Bells
Search the bellvein tunnels above and below Bellhart. The bells do not have a guaranteed fixed set of eight locations: the available guides describe randomized spawn locations, so a route that finds one bell on a pass may not find one on the next. See the quest details and the TheGamer walkthrough.
Use a repeatable search loop
- Reach the lower bellvein through the hidden passage to the right of Bellhart Bellway.
- Sweep the lower tunnels, which provide a compact route for repeated searches.
- Check the upper bellvein tunnels as well; both upper and lower areas are identified as valid search locations.
- Leave the Bellhart region and re-enter to refresh opportunities, then repeat the sweep until the counter reaches eight. The sources do not establish a guaranteed number of bells per pass.
The lower route is useful for reducing backtracking, but searching it alone is not a guarantee: the quest guidance includes tunnels above and below Bellhart, and spawn positions vary.

The Hollow Knight Wiki’s game-mechanics page reports that an invisible spawn location has a 25% chance to yield a Silver Bell, rising to 30% with Magnetite Dice equipped. These are reported game values, not independently verified here; they describe that spawn location rather than a guaranteed chance for every bell or every search loop. After gathering eight bells, return to Bellhart’s Wishwall and use its quest interface to complete the wish. The dedicated quest page lists the reward as a Rosary Necklace, which can be broken into 120 Rosaries (Hollow Knight Wiki). Another walkthrough describes reporting to the shopkeeper, but the sources differ on the turn-in wording; the Wishwall quest interface is the destination identified by the dedicated quest page.
