Complete the challenges, replay the second one in reverse to claim an easy-to-miss chest, then wait two in-game days for Songdis’s music follow-up.
How to unlock and start Sixteen Centimillion Bits
You must become an official Startorch Academy student during Chapter 3 Act 1, What Burns Beneath Frostlands, before this quest becomes available, according to Game8’s guide, last updated December 26, 2025.
Find Songdis near the arcade by Spacetrek Archives at Startorch Academy. After speaking with her, follow the quest marker to Bjartr Woods in Roya Frostlands, where the challenges take place. Exact coordinates are not available in the published walkthroughs, so use the in-game marker for the route.
How to clear all three minigames
1. Copy the Soliskin’s Hopshroom jumps
Watch the Soliskin demonstrate a jump pattern, then repeat it on the Hopshrooms. Nerdschalk’s walkthrough describes the pattern as being repeated in two runs. Game8 lists a Basic Supply Chest for this challenge.

2. Complete the Soundstep note sequence
Follow the Soliskin’s musical note order by aiming and firing at the notes. Game8 recommends an aiming gun-wielding Resonator such as Chixia or Aalto, or the Hoverdroid Shooter utility; Nerdschalk also describes using the Hoverdroid to complete the sequence. This challenge awards a Basic Supply Chest.
Optional: replay the second challenge in reverse
Before leaving the Soundstep challenge, repeat its sequence in reverse order. This optional objective is easy to miss and rewards a second Basic Supply Chest. Complete it before progressing if you want all the minigame chests.

3. Finish the final Hopshroom rounds
For the last challenge, watch the Soliskin’s pattern and jump on the Hopshrooms opposite it. Game8 describes three rounds; completing them finishes the side quest and awards a Tidal Supply Chest.

How to get the music track after the quest
After finishing the quest, wait two in-game days for Songdis to contact you with the track. Game8 says the message arrives automatically and that you can advance time with the in-game clock; Nerdschalk likewise describes advancing the clock by 48 hours and then speaking with Songdis. Follow the new prompt or quest marker when it appears to complete the follow-up and collect the music.
