Skate. Season 2 added a timed co-op mode, party tools, new challenges and a two-track 100-tier skate.Pass. It ran from December 2, 2025, to March 10, 2026, so these are Season 2’s historical features and terms—not a description of the current season.
When did Skate Season 2 run?
Electronic Arts announced Season 2 on November 25, 2025, under the theme “Future Radical,” with an 1980s-inspired arcade, neon and punk-versus-pop look. The season began December 2, 2025, and ended March 10, 2026. Its named skateable areas were to remain in the game after the season ended, according to EA’s Season 2 announcement.
The update also included a second visual pass for the world, the game’s first character visual pass, pedestrian improvements, three hairstyles and two facial-hair options. EA said audio settings would reset to their defaults at the start of the season.

What was the new co-op mode?
Own the Lot was Season 2’s headline co-op addition. Players had a chosen two-to-five-minute timer to complete as many Reqs—individual challenge objectives—as possible. Parties could include one to four players, though EA described the mode as intended for at least two.

Rewards stacked as the group reached higher thresholds. EA cautioned that party scaling could make the highest tier difficult and recommended a full four-player party for the best chance at that reward.

These are the five cumulative reward thresholds EA published for Season 2; the announcement did not establish how often players could repeat a run or earn the thresholds.

Tools for finding and coordinating with a party
Season 2 added Party Voice Chat and Party Beacons through the Comms Wheel. EA also listed Menu Narration, Text-to-Speech and Speech-to-Text-to-Text as voice-chat accessibility features. A microphone headset was optional; EA did not specify or require a particular model. Check compatibility with your platform before buying one.
How did the skate.Pass change?
EA described a 100-tier pass split into a free Standard track and a Premium track unlocked by upgrading for 1,000 San Van Bucks. The track sizes and other published Season 2 details were:

The 500 San Van Bucks figure was the total EA said players could receive by completing both tracks, not the cost of the Premium upgrade. EA’s announcement listed board items, clothing, shoes, costumes, hats, gestures, banners and avatars among the cosmetics.
Players earned Tix through daily, weekly and monthly tasks, seasonal challenges, and Own the Lot tasks and challenges. EA also listed daily grants for Premium players and an exchange for San Van Bucks. These details describe Season 2’s announced system; they do not establish current pass costs or terms.
Season 1 Premium pass holders could continue progressing on that legacy pass during Season 2. EA said legacy-pass progression would end after the following season. What challenges and task schedules did Season 2 add?
EA announced 40 new and returning challenges, alongside daily, weekly, monthly, event and Own the Lot tasks. Its published schedule was:

Seasonal challenges continued weekly and reset twice during the season. EA said that created roughly four times as many opportunities to earn Tix as in Season 1, and that seasonal challenges would award more than twice Season 1’s total Tix, excluding Own the Lot. EA also cited up to 120 seasonal challenge rotations; these are figures about the announced game system, not independent measures of how many players completed the tasks.

Which trick, replay and settings updates were included?
Tricks
Season 2 added Impossible flips, including Front Foot, Nollie and Nollie Back Foot variants. EA said players could also perform them held, late, and from grinds and manuals. Handplant options expanded from two variants to 16, with fakie performance, variable holds and chained variants.
Advanced Replay Editor
The replay editor gained enhanced trimming, keyframes, interpolation between camera types and targets, and framing controls for roll, tilt and offset. These additions offered more ways to shape and adjust a replay without changing the underlying trick challenges.

- Hold fakie push after pushing.
- Turn Grind Lean Exit off.
- Control maximum pump strength.
- Hide the compass on the HUD.
What seasonal events and brands were featured?
EA listed two limited-time events: Winter Roll-stice ran from December 16, 2025, to January 13, 2026, and Spring Pop-Off ran from February 10 to March 3, 2026. Both featured community park updates and themed cosmetic rewards earned with event currency; EA said some items were also available in an in-game shop.
