An October 8, 2026 deal headline attributed to IGN reported the Skytech Ryzen Edition desktop with an RTX 5070 at Amazon for $1,499.99. That is a reported price, not a confirmed live offer, and the available listing information does not identify the exact model or its full specifications. Check the Amazon page before buying; without the configuration, the price alone is not enough to establish whether it is a good deal.
What the $1,499.99 report establishes
An indexed item attributed to IGN carried the headline that the Skytech Ryzen Edition RTX 5070 prebuilt had dropped to $1,499.99 at Amazon. A separate Sitgi listing dated October 8, 2026 also reported the price. These are secondary index pages, not the original IGN report or Amazon product listing: BurnMonitor and Sitgi.
The available evidence does not confirm that Amazon is still offering the PC at that price. It also does not establish the exact model number, CPU, memory, storage, seller, shipping terms, or offer end date. Verify the live product page and ensure it describes the same PC before placing an order.
Is it a good deal?
There is not enough verified information to call it a bargain. The RTX 5070 identifies one important part, but prebuilts with the same GPU can differ in processor, RAM, SSD, power supply, cooling, warranty, and included software. Those details affect both the value and the system you receive.

The indexed headline describes the PC as suitable for 1080p and 1440p gaming, but no benchmark results or testing method were available. Treat that as the report’s positioning, not independently measured performance. No frame rates, discount percentage, or historical low price are established.
What to verify on Amazon before buying
- Exact identity: Match the product title and model or SKU to the Skytech Ryzen Edition RTX 5070 described in the deal report. Do not assume specifications from another Skytech PC apply.
- Core components: Check the CPU model, RAM capacity and generation, and SSD capacity. Confirm the graphics card is an RTX 5070.
- Supporting hardware: Look for the power-supply details and cooling setup rather than assuming they are the same across configurations.
- Purchase terms: Check who sells and ships the PC, the current price and shipping cost, return terms, warranty and support coverage, and whether a Windows license is included.
How to judge the listing against alternatives
Once you have the full configuration and purchase terms, compare it with other RTX 5070 prebuilts at similar prices. Compare like for like: a system’s GPU label and headline price do not reveal whether its processor, memory, storage, warranty, or seller terms are competitive. Price history and a fair comparison with other systems are not established by the available deal reports.
