To collect Slime Science resources in Slime Rancher 2, first craft the Resource Harvester at the Conservatory Fabricator. Then search by region and by the feature that produces each resource: mineral nodes, spouts, hives, trees, caves, or weather events. The region list below covers all 21 resources reported by the Slime Rancher Wiki.gg, but gives biome-level guidance—not guaranteed node coordinates.
Unlock the Resource Harvester first
In the Conservatory, go down the stairs beside the Plort Market board to reach the Fabricator. Craft the Resource Harvester there; the official Slime Rancher 2 Help Center guide says you can collect resources wherever they appear once you have it. The guide recommends exploring Ember Valley when seeking the Extra Tanks module and materials such as Silky Sand and Radiant Ore.

The Slime Rancher Wiki.gg materials page reports 21 unique resources. The list distinguishes the reported area from the feature or event to search for. Locations are regional, not exact map coordinates.

Plan a route around resource overlap
Rainbow Fields and the Conservatory
Once the Harvester is ready, look for Jellystone mineral nodes and Deep Brine spouts in the Rainbow Fields and Conservatory. The official guide confirms the upgrade prerequisite; the specific area mapping comes from the community materials list.
Ember Valley and Starlight Strand
Both regions are reported sources for Radiant Ore, Silky Sand, Buzz Wax, and Wild Honey. Ember Valley also has Lava Dust and Primordy Oil, so it offers more overlap if those are on your list. Search the relevant nodes, spouts, and hives rather than expecting every resource from one feature.

Powderfall Bluffs
Search mineral nodes for Slime Fossil and bubble spouts for Perfect Snowflake. Sun Sap is also reported here, collected from its distinctive tree source.
Grey Labyrinth
The Grey Labyrinth has the broadest concentration of region-specific entries in this list: Magma Comb, Tin Petal, Black Indigonium, Aqua Glass, Dream Bubble, and Royal Jelly. Sun Sap is reported here as well. The required feature varies among hives, mineral nodes, spouts, bubble spouts, and the tree source.

Caves and weather events
For Strange Diamond, check caves across areas rather than searching only for ordinary exposed nodes. Storm Glass and Lightning Mote are associated with lightning strikes, while Drift Crystal is associated with cyclones. These are event-dependent finds, so a route through a region alone may not produce them.

The Wiki.gg list identifies areas, not verified coordinates for every resource node. Treat it as a route-planning guide: a resource’s presence in a region does not guarantee a node at a specific point or on every visit. The list is community-maintained, and locations or spawns may change with game updates.
A Steam community walkthrough says it was verified against version 1.0 and updated through patch 1.2.3 on May 11, 2026. It mentions a Resource Detector toy added in patch 1.2 that can indicate the direction of nearby science or crafting resources, but also warns that some prices and material costs may be outdated after version 1.0 recipe changes.
