It pairs the Blind Spot skill with strong attacks that throw the weapon along a curved path. To collect it, reach the waterfall area after opening the forge’s passages with levers.
Where to find Smithscript Cirque
The weapon is on a corpse beside the waterfall at the end of a route through the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past. The dungeon is in Scadu Altus, and access to Shadow of the Erdtree is required. The route involves operating levers to open passages; the second lever opens the passage leading to the waterfall pickup, according to Game8’s dungeon walkthrough. What the patch notes say about throwing and affinities
Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe’s Version 1.12.3 notes, dated 3 July 2024, say the throwing attack range was extended for Smithscript Dagger and Smithscript Cirque. The same notes include Cirque among weapons affected by a fix for affinities that were higher than intended. There is no established definitive best build or tested damage comparison for the weapon in the available references. Choose an affinity and setup around your character and how you intend to use the Cirque rather than treating one stat spread as universally optimal.
