EA SPORTS WRC 24’s second major DLC pack of 2025, Hard Chargers, launched on March 25, 2025. It adds 12 stages across Sweden and Greece, six cars, 18 liveries and 16 Moments challenges. The pack is already available, rather than still coming; EA later described it as the game’s final expansion.
What Hard Chargers adds
EA announced Hard Chargers on March 18, 2025, as a tribute to rally cars and drivers who took risks in pursuit of victory. Its content includes:
- 12 new stages across Rally Sweden and Acropolis Rally Greece, including Umeå and Harvati, with shorter and reverse variants.
- Six vehicles: Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC ’21, Ford Focus WRC ’99, Renault Clio Rally3, Renault Clio Rally4, Opel Corsa Rally4 and Ford Escort RS 1600 MK1.
- A new Rally3 class and 18 official liveries.
- 16 Moments challenges.
EA says the cars and stages can be used in Time Trial, Moments, Quick Play and Clubs. The DLC requires EA SPORTS WRC and all game updates. See EA’s Hard Chargers content announcement and current EA SPORTS WRC product page.
How to get the DLC
EA announced Hard Chargers for individual purchase and as part of the EA SPORTS WRC + 24 Season Expansion Bundle. EA Help says the two DLC packs released after the initial expansion can be purchased separately or obtained with the 2024 Season Expansion; EA’s FAQ says the Season Expansion Bundle contains all three content packs. New players were also offered EA SPORTS WRC 24 as a purchase that combines the base game, 2024 cars and stages, Le Maestros and Hard Chargers. Package names and availability can differ by storefront and region, so check the current listing before buying.

- If you own the base game: check your platform’s store for Hard Chargers as an individual add-on, or compare it with the Season Expansion option if you want the other packs too.
- If you do not own the game: choose a listing that includes the EA SPORTS WRC base game as well as the content you want. Hard Chargers requires the base game.
EA’s 2024 Season Expansion content guide explains the pack and bundle routes. The DLC is digital. EA’s September 2024 FAQ said the base game was available digitally and physically for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S; a physical base-game copy does not, by itself, mean Hard Chargers is included. In an April 30, 2025 update, EA said the 2024 season—including Hard Chargers—would be its last expansion and that development plans for future rally titles were paused. The Codemasters WRC Team wrote: “For now, we are pausing development plans on future rally titles.” EA also said EA SPORTS WRC would remain available to existing and new players.
