1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteFor a Sol Valley interactive map in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, start with Game8’s Viewros map, which includes Sol Valley, subareas, locations, and points of interest. A second option is Gamer Guides’ Sol Valley map. Use either to orient yourself, then check shrine requirements and use in-game Scout Bots to track down missed pickups.
Sol Valley map options
Game8 describes its map as covering Viewros and its four main areas, including Sol Valley, with locations and points of interest. Gamer Guides also offers a map specifically titled for Sol Valley. The available descriptions do not establish which currently has more pins, better filters, or more complete collectible coverage, so check the live maps for the controls and markers you need.
- Open the Game8 Viewros (Sol Valley) Interactive Map.
- Open the Gamer Guides Sol Valley Interactive Map.
When choosing between them, look for pin coverage, search and filter controls, update information, and whether markers distinguish item types or progression requirements.
Sol Valley’s six named shrines
Nintendo Life’s guide names six shrines in Sol Valley. Treat this as a shrine checklist, not a complete inventory of every collectible in the region.

| Shrine | Guide-reported rewards or notes |
|---|---|
| Ladder of Thought | The guide lists a scan entry among its rewards. |
| Source of Spring | Energy Tank #5. |
| Floating Path | Missile Expansion #17. |
| Ring of Thunder | Shot Expansion #16. |
| Falling Labyrinth | Shot Expansion #17. |
| Rings of Stone | The guide lists charged or super beam upgrades among shrine rewards; check its individual entry for the specific reward. |
These reward details are reported by Nintendo Life’s Sol Valley shrine guide; they should not be read as a verified, exhaustive list of all area pickups.
Why a shrine may not be accessible yet
Finding a shrine marker does not necessarily mean you can enter it immediately. Some shrine access is gated by story progress or weapon upgrades. Nintendo Life specifically identifies Ice Shot and Thunder Shot as examples of upgrades needed to open some shrines. If a route or entrance is blocked, note the location and return after progressing or obtaining the relevant shot rather than assuming the map marker is wrong.

Find pickups the map does not reveal
For items you have not found, use a Scout Bot in the area: Nintendo Life’s Chrono Tower guide says Scout Bots reveal exact locations of remaining items in an area. This provides an in-game cross-check when an external map’s pins do not resolve what you are missing.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Amiibo are optional, not map requirements
Nintendo’s amiibo support page for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond describes optional extras: a Samus amiibo grants a temporary Health Shield once per day and unlocks a radio for Vi-O-La while exploring Sol Valley; two more tracks become available after finishing the game. A Samus & Vi-O-La amiibo tracks Vi-O-La travel distance and unlocks alternate skins at milestones. Other Metroid amiibo can also produce sounds. Nintendo does not document amiibo as a requirement for map access or exploration.
