Lap one takes place on the starting course, a Travel Ring leads to a CrossWorld for lap two, and lap three returns to the original course. The game launched with 24 main courses and 15 CrossWorlds, according to a September 2025 launch-day roster; later collaboration content means that list is not a complete catalog of what is available now.
How CrossWorld tracks work
In a standard three-lap race, the first lap is on the selected main course. Racers then pass through a Travel Ring into a CrossWorld for lap two, before returning to the original course for lap three. SEGA says the final lap uses the same track as the first, but other aspects of the course change; shortcuts, obstacles, Rings, and items can vary. Randomly appearing gates on the CrossWorld lap may trigger Frenzy events. SEGA’s official features page explains the format, while its launch announcement also describes the three-lap structure.

Launch-day course roster
The following is the 39-course launch roster enumerated by Video Games Chronicle (VGC) on September 18, 2025. It groups 24 main courses into eight Grand Prix and lists 15 CrossWorlds. Treat it as a launch-day list, not a current total: SEGA’s course page now shows collaboration content and says more is to be announced.

VGC’s launch-day description spells one main course “Northstar Islands”; that spelling is retained here. VGC’s roster and video description are the source for this enumeration. SEGA’s official courses page distinguishes Main Courses from CrossWorlds, but its current page is image-led rather than a complete text list.

Post-launch courses and collaboration content
SEGA’s current course page visibly includes MINECRAFT WORLD, BIKINI BOTTOM, and PAC-VILLAGE & MAZE, as well as imagery for New York City and Lion Turtle Island. Because the page presents much of this information in images and says more is to be announced, those labels should not be read as a complete current roster or as proof of unshown course relationships.
Minecraft World
SEGA’s October 9, 2025 announcement confirms a Minecraft Pack featuring Steve, Alex, Creeper, a Minecart machine, and the MINECRAFT WORLD course. The announcement describes the pack as available to Digital Deluxe Edition and Season Pass owners; Standard Edition owners can acquire it by purchasing the Season Pass. It is premium DLC, not a course included with every base-game edition. See SEGA’s Minecraft Pack announcement for the stated access details.

What the course list can—and cannot—tell you
The roster identifies courses and their launch categories, but it does not establish how difficult, long, or fast any individual track is. The sources cited here provide no verified per-course difficulty ranking, lap-length figures, shortcut map, or performance tier list. SEGA’s general explanation supports the lap-by-lap transition and changing course elements, not track-specific strategy claims.
For context, SEGA describes seven single-player Grand Prix competitions and more than 70 gadgets, but those figures are not additional course counts and do not indicate which track suits a particular driving style. The game launched September 25, 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, with Steam and Epic Games Store releases following September 26, according to SEGA’s launch announcement. SEGA’s product information also lists Nintendo Switch 2 in platform information; availability and edition details can change, so check the current regional store listing.
