When did Sonic Rumble come out?
SEGA’s official English announcement, published October 22, 2025, said, “Sonic Rumble launches globally on November 5.” SEGA’s November 5 launch release confirmed that the game launched globally that day. The original announcement is available at SEGA’s October 22 announcement; the launch-day confirmation is in SEGA’s November 5 release.
What platforms is Sonic Rumble on?
The October 22 announcement named Android, iOS and Steam. SEGA Corporation’s November 6, 2025 launch release listed iOS, Android, Google Play Games and Steam, and said PC and mobile players could play together. These are the platforms SEGA identified around launch; current availability can vary by region, and the cited announcements do not verify present-day regional storefront listings. What kind of game is it?
SEGA describes Sonic Rumble as a multiplayer arcade royale set in a toy world created by Dr. Eggman. Players use toy versions of Sonic characters in obstacle courses and arenas; the launch release says up to 32 players can join. The game’s premise and player count are described in SEGA’s launch announcement.

Did Sonic Rumble change its name to Sonic Rumble Party?
SEGA’s official update materials from March 12–16, 2026 use the Sonic Rumble Party name and describe Version 1.5.0. They present this as the game’s current branding in those updates, rather than as a separate game announcement. Version 1.5.0 introduced a quick Party Rumble mode, more than 30 new stages, Starter Missions and Toy Capsules, alongside changes to existing modes and rewards. Is Sonic Rumble free?

What does “over 10 million early Rumblers” mean?
SEGA reported more than 10 million “early Rumblers” on November 5, 2025. Its definition includes people who preregistered, preordered, wishlisted or downloaded the game in a pre-launch region. It is not a figure for active players or downloads alone. The definition appears in SEGA’s launch release.
