Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy joined Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble as playable Nintendo Switch DLC characters in 2024. They can roll through Adventure Mode and Battle Mode, collect Rings instead of Bananas, and each has unique attributes. The game and the full six-character SEGA Pass are already available; this is a completed crossover, not an upcoming release.
Which Sonic characters are in Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble?
SEGA announced four Sonic-series characters for the game on June 6, 2024: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy. They were added as downloadable content for Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, not as characters in a separate Sonic game. SEGA’s announcement says they can be used in Adventure Mode and Battle Mode, have unique attributes, and collect Rings in place of Bananas. It does not provide character-by-character attribute values, so there is no substantiated stat comparison to make.
