Space Colony ARK has six stage Collection Keys: a Story Key, Music Key, and Art Key in each of its two acts. Find them along the routes below, then use each key to open its matching collection box in White Space.
How the Space Colony ARK keys work
Collection Keys are found inside stages; they are separate from the collection boxes in White Space. SEGA’s Shadow Generations online manual explains that a key opens a box of the corresponding type. The three box categories are Music, Art, and Shadow’s History.

You can replay an act through the in-game act selection. The stage gate shows which Collection Keys you have already acquired when you select an act again.
Act 1 key locations
Story Key
Approaching the second Star Post, follow the Grind Rail to its end and jump onto the small roof. The Story Key is near the front of the roof; three Springs sit at the far end. Look for the key before continuing toward those Springs.

Music Key
After three Dash Rings launch Shadow into a Chaos Energy Item Box, he drops as missiles fire from both sides. Use Chaos Control at the right moment to stop the missiles in a straight, crossable path. Follow that route to a Dash Ring, which launches Shadow into the Music Key.
Art Key
At the beginning of the interior section, enter the small tunnel with laser fields at both ends. At the second field, use a Homing Attack to teleport through and hit the Gun Beetle, then Air Boost into the Dash Ring. Stay on the upper route: its Spring and Grind Rail launch Shadow into the Art Key.

Act 2 key locations
Music Key
After the first Star Post, stay on the main route through the Stomp beyond the missiles firing from both sides. Continue right past the ground silo that fires three missiles. Use Chaos Control to freeze the missiles on the left and make a platform route to the Spring above-left. Follow the Spring’s route to the area above a Loop; the Music Key is there.
Art Key
The Art Key is on top of the second Spinning Drum. Jump from the third drum onto the roof of the second. Avoid the Dash Ring on the third drum: it launches Shadow away from the key route.

Story Key
Shortly after the Art Key, a Loop launches Shadow onto another Spinning Drum. Boost up the drum and use Homing Attacks on the Gun Beetles to reach the Grind Rail. Jump from its end, then Homing Attack onto the airborne Grind Rail to reach the Story Key.

Chaos Control temporarily stops time, allowing Shadow to freeze enemies and stage gimmicks. SEGA also notes that special light trails become visible while it is active and can reveal hidden routes. In both Music Key paths above, the missiles are the important clue: freezing them at the right moment makes a route across or up to the next platform.
