Current official sources available here do not establish its exact unlock steps, present-day stats, or control mapping, so verify those in the live game rather than relying on an old guide or assumed button inputs.
What the Master-Crafted Bolt Rifle with Grenade Launcher is
It is a Bolt Rifle setup equipped with a grenade launcher. A Focus Entertainment community report identifies it as a primary weapon for the Tactical class in PvE and refers to a “Salvation of Bakka with Grenade Launcher (Artificer)” configuration. That report establishes the configuration’s name and context, not a current unlock recipe or official usage guide. Read the Focus-hosted report.
How to get it in Operations
The sources available do not verify the full current unlock sequence, required tier, or currency. A Reddit player discussion describes unlocking a grenade-launcher Bolt Rifle from the Master-Crafted (green) tier after leveling the Bolt Rifle, but that is anecdotal guidance—not an authoritative confirmation that the same progression applies in the current live game. See the player discussion.
To check your current progression, open the Tactical class’s weapon selection in the Operations armory and inspect the Bolt Rifle’s available variants and unlock requirements. Use the requirements displayed in your game; do not assume a particular level, currency cost, or tier from an older post.

How to use the grenade launcher
An exact current control mapping is not established by the sources here. Check the weapon’s on-screen prompts and the Controls settings for your platform, then test the launcher in a safe part of an Operation. A Reddit post asks how to use the launcher but does not verify an input. View the player question.

The Focus-hosted bug report describes a PS5 player on game version 9.0 whose primary selection stayed locked to the grenade-launcher Bolt Rifle after equipping the Salvation of Bakka with Grenade Launcher (Artificer). It is evidence of a reported issue in that version, not proof that the issue persists, affects other platforms, or is a general limitation. If your selection appears stuck, check the game version and current armory state before concluding the weapon cannot be changed.
