Space Marine 2’s October 1, 2026 Anniversary Update II added an official Lamenters armor set earned through Crucible challenges. A separate community data-mining post claims future Victrix Guard, Deathwatch, and Lamenters pieces, but the official roadmap does not confirm those specific assets or assign them a release date.
What new armor is officially available?
The Anniversary Update II, announced by Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive on October 1, 2026, is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. Its Crucible challenges provide progress toward a Lamenters armor set. Crucible missions use Penances—personal debuffs or negative modifiers—to increase the challenge. Warhammer Community’s October 1 update announcement describes the reward and mode.
The update also launched two paid Season Pass 3 cosmetics: a Space Wolves Champion Pack and an Exorcists Cosmetic Pack. The Space Wolves pack includes a Wolf Guard Champion skin for the Bulwark. The Exorcists pack contains six armor pieces: a helmet, left and right pauldrons, left and right gauntlets, and a breastplate. Both packs are available individually as well as through Season Pass 3. Warhammer Community distinguishes these packs from the update’s free content.
Warhammer Community also says more free content is planned, including five armor pieces and additional customization slots. Those are planned additions, not all items already available in the October update.

What does the armor leak claim?
A May 2026 post on r/Spacemarine titled “Leaked Future Cosmetics In Patch 13” attributes alleged future armor pieces to the Victrix Guard, Deathwatch, and Lamenters. It also speculates about a backpack by comparing it with Techmarine cosmetics. These are community data-mining claims, not an official announcement. The post does not establish that the pieces will release, which update they might appear in, or that the backpack prediction is correct. Read the community post.

The September 2026 Year 3 roadmap says five Cosmetic and Champion Packs are planned, but leaves the final pack redacted. It does not identify the Victrix Guard or Deathwatch armor alleged in the community post. The redaction means some future cosmetic content has not been publicly identified; it is not confirmation of a particular leak. See the official Space Marine 2 September Community Update.

The roadmap also says the Apothecary class is planned for Patch 17 in the first quarter of 2027, with a Champion skin to follow in a later update. That timing concerns the class and its skin, not the leaked armor claims. The official update puts it this way: “The Apothecary is joining the ranks with Patch 17 in the first quarter of 2027!”
