There are eight campaign Dataslates on Kadaku in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2: four in Skyfire and four in Severance. This guide gives the route and landmark for each pickup, including the ledges and detours that are easy to pass. Spoilers: mission names and route details follow.
Skyfire: all four Kadaku Dataslates
Follow the mission objectives toward the orbital cannons, but watch for side paths along the swamp, bridge and bunker routes. These locations are reported by GamesFuze and PowerPyx in their September 2024 walkthroughs.
Stormtalon Crash, Kadaku
After the Cadian airstrike, enter the swamp and look left of the main route for large plants. Shoot them to open a hidden path, then follow it to the crashed Stormtalon. The Dataslate is on a crate.
Admission of Desertion
After crossing to the far side of the destroyed bridge, check the cliff edge and drop to the lower path. The slate is on the ground beside a corpse.

Collect it before moving on: the route guide warns that the drop leaves you unable to return. Continue past the ledge only after picking it up.
Anti-Tyranid Offensive, Kadaku
In the bunker section on the way to the orbital cannons, find the corridor with the spinning fan. Turn left and climb the stairs. The slate is beside a dead body near the Combat Knife.

Desired Purgation of Data
Inside the orbital-cannon base, locate the elevator that continues toward the targeting system. Before riding it, check to its right by the computers. The slate is beside a Tech-Priest’s body.
Timing cue: pick this up before taking the elevator onward.

Severance: all four Kadaku Dataslates
The remaining four are on the approach to the Adeptus Mechanicus facility, inside it, and in the cave where you receive the Jump Pack.
Conflict, Adeptus Astartes/Tyranid, Kadaku
On the swamp approach to the Adeptus Mechanicus facility, go behind the campsite tent and follow the path toward a broken Rhino APC. The slate is at the rear of the vehicle. Enemies appear as you approach, according to the guide.

Tyranid Attack, Designation: Rippers, Kadaku
At the Adeptus Mechanicus facility, check behind the barricade near a red light. This is near the first elevator; collect the slate before taking it.
Lamentation for Sacred Machines
After restoring power, use the console that opens the nearby door. Take the right-hand tunnel and follow it to the end. The slate is on the ground near corpses and a large fan.

Summary, Tyranid Invasion, Kadaku
After leaving the facility, enter the cave where you receive the Jump Pack. Soon after entering, look up and left. Use the Jump Pack to reach the elevated ledge; the slate is on the ground near a corpse and crates.

PowerPyx’s guide says missed Dataslates can be collected by replaying their missions and that the Battle Barge’s Dataslates Repository shows which ones are missing. This article covers only Kadaku’s eight campaign pickups, not the game’s full collectible set.
For broader context, PowerPyx’s 2024 guide covers 35 Dataslates across the original game’s campaign and Operations. GamesFuze reports the same total and says collecting all 35 awards the Data Mining achievement or trophy. These are guide-reported details; later patch-specific behavior is not established here.
