Stellar Blade’s holiday event arrived on December 17, 2024, bringing Christmas decorations to Xion, seasonal music at camp, a mini-game, and new character and Drone cosmetics. The event was in-game content, not a separately sold holiday product.
What was in the Stellar Blade holiday update?
Shift Up technical director DongKi Lee announced the event on the PlayStation Blog on December 16, 2024, for release the following day. The update gave parts of the game a seasonal look and added a mini-game and cosmetics. Read the announcement on PlayStation Blog.

Holiday decorations and music
Xion’s city square received a Christmas tree and festive decorations, and The Last Gulp was decorated for the holiday. Camp gained two seasonal tracks: “Dawn (Winter)” and “Take me away.”
A mini-game in Xion
The announcement describes the mini-game as a break from the game’s survival struggles and says players can earn rewards by completing it. Lee wrote, “A new mini-game has arrived in Xion, offering a break from survival struggles.” The post does not explain the rules, how to start it, or what specific rewards it offers.

What costumes and cosmetics did the Christmas update add?
The announcement named these seasonal items:
- Eve: Santa Dress costume and Santa Girl hairstyle.
- Adam: “I’m No Santa” costume.
- Accessories: Snow Crystal Glasses, Wreath Earrings, and Sleigh Ear Cuffs.
- Drone: Rudolph Pack cosmetic.
Can you turn Stellar Blade seasonal events off?
Yes. The update added an on/off feature for seasonal events and NieR:Automata DLC content. The announcement does not give a settings-menu path or specify whether the toggle controls every seasonal feature in the same way.
