PC players do not need a PlayStation Network account to play Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. PlayStation says signing in is optional; it offers two early-unlock suits and account features. A community mod listed on Nexus Mods claims to provide the suits without PSN, but its current compatibility and safety have not been established.
What the PSN workaround does
The Nexus Mods listing for “Get PSN benefits without an account (PsPcSdk Emulator)” says it provides the PSN-linked suits without a PSN login. The listing identifies version 1.0.2, created by LNDF and uploaded by LNDF32; it was last updated January 31, 2025. That is the mod’s stated function, not an independently verified result. The mod is a community-made option, not a Sony feature and not a bypass needed to launch or play the PC game. Its description says: “This mod allows you to bypas the requirement to login with a Playstation Network in order to get the exclusive suits.” The listing’s original spelling is preserved here.
